Bad Bish- Double Feature
This picture comes from The Sartorialist. I love it because it the outfit and the woman are hot, sexy without trying, and uber cool. The whole look from her hair to the jacket, flip of the jean skirt, and tights to the shoes are just amazing. TREMAZING!
How do you guys like the new cover of OMGEE Magazine? I first met Tita on Twitter. She told me about her magazine that she started when she was 17 years old. She is still in school while she runs this magazine! I think she is doing an awesome job. Check out her magazine! Follow her here.

Spring Couture 2010 Is Drool-worthy
Anne Valérie Hash
I thought the whole collection lacked a certain cohesiveness. The pieces I did love were full of hologram and mixed print goodness.I know she is still trying to build on things, but I wish she would work on her cohesiveness.
Alexis Mabille
I was not expecting Alexis Mabille's collection to be so literal, but I liked it. The collection reminded me of some kind of chic graphic, geometric circus uniform. I really like it though. Panels of colors were mixed with different shapes and fabrics just like a patchwork quilt.
Christian Dior
Christian Dior made my mouth drop to the floor. The collection was beyond gorgeous. John Galliano usually creates beautiful collections but this one, to me, was his best yet. The equestrian theme meets Frankenstein Gibson Girl was a great combination. I can't wait to see who is going to be the first to rock the boots. They were awesome too.

The Fat and Skinny/We Love Color Midwinter Contest

WLC sent me some of their footless tights/leggings in Scarlet Red and Teal. As usual the colors are bright, which really helps them stand out in your wardrobe. The tights are made up of 90% Nylon and 10% Lycra, so they are really thick, soft and stretchy. Another thing I love about WLC is that they come in straight sizes and plus sizes. Everybody can get some tights.

I Finally Did It...

UPDATE: I have been getting comments and emails about my size and Topshop. I wear a US size 18 or a UK size 20/22. Topshop only goes up to a US 12 or a UK 16. I can only buy Topshop garments if the clothes have a lot of stretch to them. I hope that helps people out since a lot of you want to shop at Topshop. Also I find that I can do the same at H&M. DON'T the size on the tag scare you. If it stretches, it will probably fit you. Please support The Fat and Skinny Shop!

Target Has Gone Designer Collab Crazy
Target has really gone designer collaboration crazy! Coming up in the next few months are the collections by Zac Posen and Jean Paul Gaultier. Out of these collections, I love the JPG one the best. The trench coat and motorcycle jackets are tresmazing! Zac Posen's line looks good if you are into that thing. I like Zac Posen, but his collection looks like a mix and match of things, more mix/matchy than usual. Photos from Refinery29 and Fashionista.com.
From Refinery29:

Yesterday's camera-phone sneak peek of the Jean Paul Gaultier for Target collection led us to our receiving the actual lookbook. The original editorial from Elle—not Vogue—played a few tricks on us. There's no lace paneling, no sheer-topped dresses, there's a big cartoon anchor on that striped top, and that $40 trench is actually $59.99 (still affordable for just how adorable it is). But what can we expect when the line drops on March 7th? A hodgepodge of styles, really. At times the looks can look sweet, ranging from prim floral A-line skirts to bustier tops with a chipper, sailor's neckline. But other times the looks can be positively head-scratching. The last time pin stripes and "tattoo-print" dresses appeared on our monitors was when we were watching old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Hulu. Prices range from $17.99 for swimsuit separates to $199 for those sick leather jackets. Click through for all the looks!
From Fashionista.com:

If yesterday’s blurry Gaultier for Target image left you unsatisfied, here’s the complete Zac Posen for Target lookbook.
The collection’s 100% Zac, made for a woman who likes to dress up, but might not have a red carpet to walk every other week.
It’s mostly dresses, highlights include a sleeveless floral mini with a massive side bow ($74), a well-cut purple polka-dot number with thick seams ($39), and the long printed gown at left ($69).
Swimsuits come in gold lame ($40) and tie dye (so do tees), skirts are basic black in flouncy cuts ($40) and Zac’s even included a slim black suit ($90).
You’ll have to wait until April 25th to buy it, but click through to see the whole collection.

Forever21/Faith21 Spring 2010 Preview

Nitrolicious has the Forever 21/Faith 21 lookbook. I am excited that they combined the two lines together instead of separating them and I also like the direction that they are pushing the Faith 21 line. They added a new size level. Faith 21 now goes up to a 3X. Hopefully they will go up so more. I would like for them to go to at least a 5X if they really want to call it a plus size line.

I also like the look of this collection. The mixture of stripes and floral prints are very trend on for spring and easy for mall shoppers to digest without getting to high fashion. The colors are bright just like we saw on some of the spring 2010 runways and they are introducing their version of the striped Breton sailor shirt. It is all very classic and extremely cute!

Could We Be Seeing CHUGGS In Our Future?
Support The Fat and Skinny Shop!

From Fashionista.com:
What could be more expensive and more unnecessary than $400 Jimmy Choo for Hunter faux crocodile rainboots?
Jimmy Choo embellished Uggs.
Tamara Mellon told WWD, “Ugg Australia is the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe,” so naturally, she’d team up with Ugg to design a limited edition collection of five different sheepskin boots with classic Jimmy Choo design details. Though you’ll have to wait until next October to slip your feet into a pair of studded, grommeted, crystallized winter boots.
And when you do, they’ll set you back anywhere from $595 to $795.

I was perusing the All Saints website for the first time, and I was very impressed. They had a lot of different pieces on the website that were great, but I was really impressed with the draping on several of the tunics and dresses. I mean the draping was crazy. I hope you check out the site, especially since some of these pieces are on sale.

I'm With The Band...But Not Really
I found this band cover art blogger tag on Dream Sequins and thought it was HIGH-larious, so I did it. Deanne from Dream Sequins changed the rules and tagged everybody. I think I am going to do the same because I don't know who all has access to photo editing software, and I don't want to put you on the spot. If you do it let me know.Name of Album: Of The Grace Of Tragedy
Album Cover Tag Rules
1 – Go to “wikipedia.” Hit “random… Read More”or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 – Go to “Random quotations”or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 – Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 – Use photoshop or similar to put it all together. I used gimp, which is free, but you could also use picasa too.
- Do a Random Album Cover
- Blog it
- Include the instructions in blog post
- Tag at least 5 people and tweet/blog comment them that they’ve been tagged

The Final V Mag Preview

You know they had to throw in the straight size model to finish the size issue and make it fair. I wanted to show you all of these pictures, but Iris Strubegger is completely naked in all of them except one, and i know some of my readers are reading this at work. I am trying to figure out a way to show NSFW fashion photos without getting people fired.

Also the cover features Gabby Sidibe, from Precious, and Dakota Fanning, who looks disheveled and blank stare worthy, as a dual cover issue.
