Go Jane’s Suede Fringe Wedge Booties are super cute for the fall and remind me of other designer fringe booties but for a much lower price. Wear these fringe wedge booties with light colored skinny jeans. These fringe wedge booties come in red, black, and taupe for only $31.70. Hurray up and get them now since they just came back in stock!
So I have been cleaning and rearranging and updating my decor for the past two weeks now. One of the things I needed to do was update my craft storage. I ended up buying a storage container with three drawers in it. When I finally get a bigger place, I would love to have a separate room for my crafts. I mean who doesn’t dream of a neat and tidy craft storage room? These pictures from Pinterest should give me proper craft storage inspiration.
Bond No. 9 New York Musk is the great new fragrance from Bond No. 9. This warm eau de parfume is a unisex fragrance that is sure to entice the senses. I love the warmth of Bond No. 9 New York Musk. The musk and sandalwood scents are strong. Warmth is the number one reason I love musk scents to begin with, but Bond No. 9 put the right amount of lightness in it with the grapefruit flower and black currant.
They always say a musk acts as a pheromone to help you attract a mate. While I know there are many naysayers out there, I can attest to the fact that whenever I wear a musk perfume I do get more attention. Since this is a holiday release, you should cop this for your holiday parties. 😉 Bond No. 9 New York Musk will appear on-counter in November 2012, Bond No. 9 New York Musk will be sold at Bond No. 9’s five New York stores, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and bondno9.com. Price: 100ml, $330; 50ml, $260. Photo from Bond No. 9.
I had been tempted to buy this foundation for a long time now, but the Revlon Color Stay Whipped Crème Makeup is very expensive for a drugstore makeup. The prices I have seen have varied from $11.99-$13.99. There isn’t a huge color range like the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation, but I do like that it gives you a full coverage. There aren’t many drugstore foundations that give you full coverage. Check out my full review in the video above.
This is the last look for Halloween Beauty Week, and boy is it an interesting one! It is by Nikkie Tutorials, and as usual, she does something truly spectacular. This one is for those of you who really like to pursue a different look for Halloween. This look is inspired by a modern day Marie Antoinette Flapper type. Yes all of that and then some. This mix of looks is sure to keep people guessing.
I love Adele’s song for the new James Bond movie-Skyfall. The song is so cool and mellow. It reminds me of the James Bond themes from the 60s. I heard that Adele might have given birth to a little boy this week. If so, congratulations!
This Black Wool Combo Coat from Hakaan is perfect because I am in love with the combo coat for winter. It is too chic! Unfortunately this coat comes in only three sizes on the Stylebop website and it costs $2935. 🙁 That my friends is a supreme sad face with some whomp whomp thrown in. A girl can dream though…
Halloween Beauty Week is almost over. 🙁 I found this beautiful Cleopatra makeup tutorial by Teased Black Pearlz or Tiarra Monet. This tutorial is for those who would rather have a pretty Halloween look than a creepy one. There isn’t anything scary about this.
Today’s Halloween Beauty Week post is from ApriAthena7. She always has great makeup tutorials, and this one is perfect. I love the show American Horror Story. It is so campy and scary and fun! Well April did a scary makeup tutorial based on the show. Watch this and be amazed!
Lane Bryant’s Zip & Buckle Wide Calf Boot is the perfect plus size boot. I am so glad that companies are starting to make cuter wide calf boots because I have a wide calf. The struggle to find cute boots that fit is real, and it sucks. Luckily for me, Lane Bryant has some options. They have about five wide calf boots on their website right now and they are all priced at $79.95. Get you a piece. Photo from Lane Bryant.
Leave it to Pinterest to help me find a classy way to decorate for Halloween. What surprised me about this look was the fact that I was actually drawn to it. I hate white pumpkins. I love the traditional orange ones, but white ones used to freak me out. This look, with a little bit of texture and black candle holders, look tres chic. Photo from Pinterest.
Welcome back to Halloween Beauty Week! Today’s looks is a creepy doll makeup look. This look is very scary and creative. You would definitely win a costume contest with this look. Video from I Wanted 2 C U.
I think this olive and purple makeup look from Colored Beautiful is great for the fall. It isn’t too crazy or too bland. I say it is just right. The soft olive color on the eye is great for a natural day look, but you can add the purple lip color for night or rock it during the day if you want to as well.
This year I decided to do something different for Halloween. I am going to bring you a week full of beauty looks to create for Halloween. Today’s looks is an alien/futuristic look. This look isn’t really scary, but it sure is creative. Video from Jessica Harlow.
Ok so I have been back for a week, but I needed some time to regroup and get myself together. For those of you who don’t follow me on Instagram, I went to Monaco and the French and Italian Rivera with my parents about two weeks ago. I never thought I would ever get to Europe because I was so afraid of flying. I never flew until I was 21 years old, and I will be 26 in January. I really haven’t been flying that long, so catching all those planes freaked me out a bit. I will say that I did better than expected.
For Stella McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2013 show, makeup artist Pat McGrath used CoverGirl Queen Collection Vivid Impact Eyeliner in Jade in the waterline of the eye. The waterline is inside the lower lash line. I think this is a great and easy peasy look for someone who wants to jazz things up without going crazy. Below are some high and low end eyeliners to try. Click for details. Let me know if you try this look. Photo from Style.com.
Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, daughter of Fashion editor extraordinaire Carine Roitfeld, a young hot mom who knows how to dress for her shape and doesn’t mind recycling accessories. She can’t help but be stylish. She is French after all. I can’t wait to see what outfits she comes up with next. Photos from The Cut.
