I was perusing ASOS this week and saw these plus size spring dresses. To be honest, now is the time to start looking for that new plus size dress. ASOS’ plus size range has some cute items right now and most are on sale. These ASOS Curve dresses are adorable, trendy, and affordable. My only problem is that I can’t figure out which one I want to buy. I am torn between the last two. [SOURCE]
Gap’s Printed Pointy Flats are great for spring and summer. I know it doesn’t feel like it, but the weather is going to be getting warmer soon. Try these out with some cropped denim or a cute skater dress. The Gap’s Printed Pointy Flats come in two different colored polka dot prints and two different colored leopard prints for $49.95. That’s cheap and chic. [SOURCE]

I don’t know if you follow me on Instagram, which you can do by clicking the link on the right sidebar, but I have been drinking a lot of tea lately and sharing it in pictures. Tea is so good for the body. I used to only like sweet tea because I am a Southern girl, but I have found the right teas from Yogi at Whole Foods. The Vanilla Energy Tea is the best.
I have just been drinking my tea out of mugs, but now I feel like I need something fancy to make teatime special. Cue the Ikat Tea For One Set from C. Wonder. The Ikat Tea For One Set is perfect for me because I can steep my tea in the teapot and pour it in the matching mug. At $38, you really can’t miss out on such a cute little tea set. The only thing is wish for now is a matching saucer. You can’t have a tea cup without a saucer. [SOURCE]
L’oreal has come out with an at-home ombre hair color kit called L’oreal Preference Wild Ombres in Europe and L’Oreal Feria Wild Ombre in America. I am so glad they have come out with this kit because I have seen some people eff up some hair trying to do the trendy ombre look with regular bleaching and dye kits. Now you don’t have to monkey it up because this kit comes with an easy to use brush that you put the color on and brush through your hair. It makes for one easy application that makes the three colors that range from blonde to brown look great! Before you decide to ombre your own hair with a regular dye kit, go pick up the L’oreal Preference Wild Ombres/ L’oreal Feria Wild Ombre $11.99 kits at your local drugstore. [SOURCE] [SOURCE]
Miroslava Duma is one of Russia’s, and now the world’s, biggest street style star. I have been following her looks for a while now,and I am always impressed with how she dresses. She always manages to put things together that I wouldn’t necessarily think would go together like a cheesy sweatshirt and heels or a bright neon shirt with jewels and denim cutoffs. She makes everything work. I am particularly enamored by this metallic and glitter ensemble worn here at London Fashion Week with the Swiss Miss braids. Love it![SOURCE]
Alicia Bailey is a local woman who sells Chloe + Isabel jewelry in the Columbia Metro area. She sent me the lookbook for their new collection titled The Duchess. I am in love with their jewelry. The Duchess collection is light, feminine, and airy. It reminds me of Marie Antionette. The best part about the jewelry is the price. Just about everything is under $100. As a matter of fact, most things are between $30-$50. You can’t get much better than that. Check out Alicia’s boutique here and her Facebook page here. [SOURCE]
Christian Siriano and Payless have done it again. They have brought shoe lovers everywhere more trendy shoes for very affordable prices. Today I fell in love with two shoes from his Spring Summer 2013 collection. They come in pastel colors which will be big this spring! The Margo Oxford is a cute metallic pink oxford with a white sole for $44.99. The Julie Mary Jane is a $54.99 pump that comes in mint and metallic champagne. Both shoes are to die for, and both shoes can be worn to work or around the town for fun. Plus they are great for Easter. I love shoes that can take you to different places in your day to day life. Hop on these shoes today before they sell out! P.S. I used code 70128 today to get 20% off my entire order! SHH! [SOURCE]
Tom Ford showed his Fall/Winter 2013 womenswear collection recently during London Fashion Week. The wild multi-ethnic and tribal prints, brightly colored cartoon zaps, and plush fur were not what I was expecting, but I loved it. I am always looking for a plain, but extraordinary evening gown. I want something with a simple silhouette, but has a little something extra to it that makes it different from the rest. I think I found it in Tom Ford’s latest collection. Unfortunately I know I can fit it, it is see through, and it cost way too much. A girl can dream… [SOURCE]
I am finally home from the Bronner Bros. Mid-Winter Hair Show 2013. I am so tired and sore from all the walking and standing and doing, but I had a blast! I can’t wait to go back again. I bought a ton of items, and handed out several business cards. I really think I found some new brands to cover for the blog. I never made it to any of the classes, but that is okay. This was my first time at the largest exhibition in the world. I learned what to expect for next time so I can plan accordingly. I want to leave you with some of pictures that I took at the event. Also, check out the blog in the coming weeks when I review some products from the show!
Have y’all seen the Tabletop Spinning Cosmetic Organizer by Lori Greiner at QVC.com? I have looked at this thing for months, and now I think I am finally going to buy it. I could use a better cosmetic organizational system in my bathroom. This spinning organizer can fit up to 100 pieces of your and my cosmetic junk. Plus it has a removable top as well! The Tabletop Spinning Cosmetic Organizer by Lori Greiner is only $29.82, so I won’t be breaking the bank when I buy it. Then again, I might end up buying new cosmetics to fill up all the space I just freed up. [SOURCE]
Here is part two of my Model Model and Freetress Equal Invisible Part Wig review. Check out part one here.
Model Model Invisible Part Wig Yura:
Freetress Equal Invisible Part Wig Spotlight:
Check out this battle between the Model Model Invisible Part Wig “Yura” and the Freetress Equal Invisible Part Wig “Spotlight.” I am really loving these wigs. For the uninitiated, these are basically 3/4 or u-part wigs. If you are still confused, it is basically a wig with the top cut out of it in a “U” formation so you can pull your own hair out on the top which allows the wig to look more natural. Get into these things. They will save your life on a bad hair day all for around the price of $25. Not bad ehh?! Check out the video and look for part two.

I decided to to try out the COVERGIRL Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation because everyone was talking about how great it is. Umm yeah! It is pretty freaking awesome. This is an all day full coverage foundation with a primer and concealer built into it. It looked really good after it dried. Later in the day, it still help on but looked a little powdery. It wasn’t that bad, unless you prefer a dewy finish to a matte finish. This foundation is pretty good. There are only two full coverage foundations in drugstore beauty aisles, and I like this one more than the Revlon Colorstay. I recommend the COVERGIRL Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation.
FCC: I bought this foundation with my own money.
AHHHHHHHHH!! Mom and I are having a blast at Bronner Bros. braving the wind and the cold, and all of the incredible vendors inside. I have already bought things that I plan on reviewing later and sampled other products. My hands have more creams and oils on them I’ve ever had on them before. They should be baby soft right now. I think I am going to put some pictures up of all the crazy hairstyles I’ve seen so far on my Facebook page, so stay tuned for that. They are wild, and I know you want to see them. Tomorrow we are going to go to some makeup classes and peruse the vendors again. Mom is acting as my assistant. She is helping me tape things, and is really having a blast! I would also like to say thank you to the media coordinators for the event. They were really helpful.
The lovely people at Yuna Yang sent me some great behind the scenes photos from the Yuna Yang FW 2013 fashion show. They show the models having fun and the good stuff happening back stage. I also have some shots of the finale. This show was in a beautiful venue, and the clothes were gorgeous! Take a peek at the pics.
Anna Scholz new Black Collection for Spring Summer 2013 is online now. The collection has a mix of shapes, prints, flowy fabrics and body conscious lace. I think this is one of the best Black Collections by Anna Scholz to date, and I always love her clothes. Check out Anna Scholz Black Collection SS13 now. Photos from Anna Scholz.
It looks like Beyonce is getting a lot of love on this blog, but it is officially Bey Season…so uh…duh! This is the second time she has posed for Vogue. While I think the pictures are beautiful and show a more mature Beyonce, I also think they are just a tad bit dowdy. She is only in her early 30s. I would expect this photo shoot for a star in her 40s maybe. Either way Bey Season is here, so get ready for the Beyonce onslaught! Check out the rest of the photos at Vogue.com.
I couldn’t resist. I know I posted a red shoe yesterday, but when I saw Charlotte Olympia’s Love Me Heart-Appliqued Suede Pumps I couldn’t help myself. I had to put this shoe up. It is so cliche, but so cute! I would have never even thought about a Valentine Day themed shoe before. Unfortunately this shoe cost way too much. At $14500.00 this shoe is just a dream. [SOURCE]
Type Z Lolla Mary Jane Pump High Heels from Zappos.com is the perfect Valentine’s Day shoe. It should be more comfortable than the classic pump because of the platform and it comes in at $69.00. Plus Zappos.com has free shipping for that item! You can’t beat it. Even if it doesn’t come in in time for the lover’s holiday, just think of all the places you could wear that cute shoe… [Source]
