The Face mentor and supermodel Coco Rocha sings and dances in this new fashion film for Hunger Magazine while wearing Roberto Cavalli. She looks great, and who knew she could sing!?!?! We always knew she was a dancer, but what can’t this girl do? Bad Bish indeed.
I know it is still snowing up a storm in some parts of the US, but it is time to start thinking about spring break, beaches, and just warmer weather in general. Monif C always has the best plus size swimsuits and fatkinis! Now is the time to check out her swimsuits and get your body outfitted for the pool because fatkini/monokini/anykini season is right around the corner! The Malibu Surfer Plus Size Swimsuit is pretty hot. I love the African print, and the scuba/surfing look. I also love the the zipper in the front which allows you to zip up or let it all out! Have you been swimsuit shopping yet?
Jordana Warmflash provided ladies with plenty of lace this spring with her new Novis collection. This collection brings plenty of vintage glam with bright colors, textured fabrics, vintage prints, and an abundance of lace. Lace is one of this spring’s biggest trends, and Warmflash couldn’t have done it any better. Check out more Novis designs here. Photo from Maguire Steele.
Metallic shoes are all the rage right now. The Andrea high heel sandal from Shoedazzle is a very affordable, yet trendy option. It is $42.95 regularly, but if you are a Shoedazzle VIP you can get it for $38.50. I also happen to think this shoe makes a great springtime shoe with some white jeans or a bouncy Easter dress. Get you a piece of Shoedazzle’s Andrea heel today. Street style photo from here.
I recently redecorated two counter tops in my room- the top of my dresser and the top of my shorter bookshelf. I used serving trays and large bowls to organize the things that I keep on top of them like my jewelry and my sunglasses and their cases. I also organized some collars and headbands with trays as well. Check out this awesome picture for jewelry tray decoration inspiration from Pinterest.
I love the look of glitter nails. The glitter nail look is super easy to do. All you need is three glitter nail polishes, and bing-bam-boom! You are set for some glitter nails. Not sure what I am talking about? Watch this tutorial above from MszJackieChu.
Look at Tina Turner! How many 73 years do you know that can turn out a Vogue Germany cover like that, or any magazine cover for that matter? She looks great! Can I look that good at that age please? [SOURCE]
I have really been impressed with the latest clothes from the ASOS Curve collection. I stopped looking at websites that tempt me into buying recently so I wouldn’t be tempted to spend, but the ASOS CURVE Maxi Dress With Bell Sleeve is calling my name. I saw Marie Denee mention it on twitter last night and I just couldn’t help myself. I had to take a peek. This dress is to die for. It reminds me of the days of disco. Like I am legitimately singing, “Everybody Dance! Doo Loo Loo Loo! Clap Your Hands, Clap Your Hands!” This dress also comes in blue, but the black ASOS CURVE Maxi Dress With Bell Sleeve looks more divine. Get you a piece! [SOURCE]
It looks like Spring has finally sprung here in South Carolina, and the Flutter sneaker wedge from Shoedazzle proves it! While running errands today, I stopped by Walgreens and bought some allergy tablets. I could literally feel the light crust, as gross as that sounds, of pollen in my throat. Then I walk into the house to see a news story on how pollen season is on the way and we must prepare for it! OMG!
Today’s Living Large post was inspired by the color green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day! I love the color green. Both Ulta and Sephora are touting two different color greens as the color of the year! The white bathroom with the green set of drawers and mirror, the green chairs in the dining room, and the ombre green tea cups and plates show just a few ways to use the color green to spruce up a home. If Pantone deems it the color of the year, use is not sparingly, but abundantly… or until next year when the new color of the year comes out! [SOURCE, SOURCE, SOURCE]
As y’all know, I am going natural. I’m trying to learn how to do different types of twist outs on my hair for a protective style that will give my hair a break. I found this video from Shameless Maya which shows you how to do two twerked out twist outs! The song and dancing are cute, but the tutorial is also very informational. In the video she shows you how to do the two strand twist out and the flat twist. Check it out and see if you can master these twisting techniques. Bonus: You can do these twist outs on relaxed hair as well.
Since I am one of the bloggers a part of IBM’s My Smarter Commerce campaign, I decided to share a video to tell you a little bit about what #mysmartcommerce means to me. If you see the hashtag #mysmartercommerce roaming around the internets on social media and the like, join the conversation!
Today I am bringing you a review of the Prima Donna Lipstick and Prima Donna Lip Polish from http://www.iamprimadonna.com. The colors I received were Sassy(lipstick) and Lollipop(lip polish). They are really fun colors that look great on everyone and only costs $10.99.
Here is my wig review for the Motown Tress Flirt Wig. I am not a big fan of it. It only costs about $35 at my local beauty supply store. It costs around that price too on the online hair stores. Even though it has lace at the top to make it look like a natural part, I think the cap is too small. The cap is so small that it puckers up in the back. I finally cut the bottom hairs off of the wig to give it a more natural look. You can see that part in the last few minutes of the video. I feel like this is just one of those wigs I am going to have to work with.
