Bond No. 9 New York sent me their newest fragrance to review. Bond No. 9′s perfumes are inspired by New York City, and the newest fragrance is inspired by Central Park West. Central Park West is inspired by the tree lined streets and vintage apartment buildings on the Upper West Side. The fragrance notes start with narcissus, ylang ylang, and pepper. Then in the middle you have orris, jasmine, linden, and gardenia. To round off the scents, the notes end with white oak, vetiver, and musk.
The reason I am in love with this scent is because it smells light and fresh, but the pepper and musk give it this dark bite. I love dark scents. Light scents usually make my head hurt, but because of the blend of dark notes this scent is very doable for lovers of dark, warm scents. I can’t wait to wear this. I have to hide it from my mom because she wants to steal it from me. Central Park West launches March 15 and will be sold at Bond No. 9′s five New York stores, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and bondno9.com.
