Beauty Bit-NYX Cosmetics 3C Conceal Correct Contour Palette

FTC: I paid for the NYX Cosmetics 3C Conceal Correct Contour Palette myself. This is an honest review.

I recently bought the NYX Cosmetics 3C Conceal Correct Contour Palette from Ulta, and I love it. I can use it for soooo many things. You can too. I have used it for my eyebrows, for contouring my face, and hiding hyperpigmentation. I recommend this product because it really does conceal, correct, and contour.

Beauty Bit- Instanatural Argan Oil and Instanatural Vitamin C Serum Review

FTC: I was sent the Argan Oil and the Vitamin C Serum from Instanatural and Brandbacker. This is an honest review.

Hey everyone! I received some more products from Instanatural. The InstaNatural Organic Argan Oil and the InstaNatural Vitamin C Serum 20% For Face – With Hyaluronic Acid, Ferulic Acid, Rosehip Oil, Seabuckthorn Oil & Vitamin E
. The argan oil is great for the skin and the hair. It takes the redness out of my stretch marks and moisturizes my skin and my hair. It also smells great too.

The vitamin c serum is an anti-aging product. When I used it with the argan oil on my face, my skin glowed. I never heard so many compliments on my skin before. The argan oil helped diminish dark spots on my skin and the vitamin c serum brightened my face.

I loved these products and highly recommend them. Actually I highly recommend Instanatural’s products because I haven’t found one that is bad yet, and I think I have tried about four or five of them.

Beauty Bit- The Red Lip Ruled The 2015 Oscars

Margot Robbie
The red lip ruled the 2015 Oscars. From Margot Robbie to Emma Stone- who I was told is wearing Revlon of course- red lips were everywhere. Now a few ladies did opt for the neutral, natural lip, but their beauty looks didn’t stand out to me. It was the Oscars for crying out loud! If there ever were a time to go red, last night was it. Below you will find a bunch of red lip products to choose from with various price points. I picked out some lip glosses, lip sticks, and more because I know everyone doesn’t automatically want a lipstick. Photo from here.

Beauty Bit – Cure Acne and Dry Skin With The Instanatural Dead Sea Mud Mask

Thanks to Brandbacker.com, I was able to try another product from Instanatural. I have really been enjoying their products. I’m four products in and have yet to hate one. The product I am reviewing today is amazing. The Instanatural Dead Sea Mask is phenomenal. I love how it tamed my oily skin and made my pimples go away. You can find it on the Instanatural website for $25.77 or Amazon for $24.97 plus Prime shipping. Either way, I love it! I plan on using this product again tonight. Watch the video for more.

Beauty Bit-Rihanna Was A Natural Beauty At The 2015 Grammys

rihanna grammys
Rihanna was a natural beauty at the 2015 Grammys.  She had a neutral smokey eye and nude lips. That’s it. That’s all.  Nothing more than that, and the look suited her.  I think this is a look that I would like to see more of on the red carpet and in everyday life. You don’t have to look beat all day every day. I think we forget that sometimes in our quest to have the hottest makeup look.

Two British Beauty Brands Rocking My Socks #frostyvoxbox

British Beauty Brands
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Late last year I received the #frostyvoxbox from Influenster. In that box, I received a few things from two British beauty brands that have a few products that I love. The first products I saw were from Rimmel London. I love Rimmel London products, and I wish they would expand their line to include more foundations and powders for women of color. The products I got were the Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover ($7.49) and the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner ($4.49). The eye makeup remover is great, but the eyeliner is even better. I actually have been using this eyeliner for over a year now. It is so good for my oily eyelids. It dries fast, has full on color, and doesn’t attach itself to my oily upper eyelid. I love to buy these in bulk even though they last me a long time. Also check out the Rimmel Stay Matte powder and lipsticks. They were in my box, but those products are some good.

This week I am going to be featuring a series of YouTube videos that helped my transition to natural hair. My natural hair journey wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, and I really think that was because of the many YouTube videos that I watched every night. I have been natural for two years now, and I finally big chopped about one year and change into my journey. I know for some that may seem like an eternity when you are used to having relaxed hair. I hope this video series helps on your own natural hair journey.

Beauty Bit- Unboxing My Winter 2014 Walmart Beauty Box

FTC: I paid for this Walmart Beauty Box myself. This is an honest review.

I love the items I received in my Winter 2014 Walmart Beauty Box. This box is one of the cheapest beauty boxes around because you only get charged $5 for shipping and handling four times a year. So four boxes are $20! Most beauty boxes will cost you $20 or more for one box. I could use or enjoy most of the items. I do have a problem with some of the samples. I can’t really use them because they are for lighter skin tones. :( Oh well. check out my unboxing video, and let me know what you think in the comments.

Beauty Bit- Thanksgiving Day Beauty

Thanksgiving Day Beauty
Thanksgiving is almost here, so you need to get your beauty look together. I found a lot of fall festive options to wear on Turkey Day from Sephora and Ulta. Now is the time to get into these fall colors. I love wearing plums, berries, bronzey browns, and lots of golden shimmers. For the past two or three years, I have been wearing brown and gold eyeshadow, golden blush with a hint of plum or berry and a deep and very dark lip. I can’t wait to play around with my makeup on Thursday. Photos from Sephora.com and Ulta.com. Find more options below.

Beauty Bit-L’oreal Collection Privee The Perfect Nudes Lipstick

FTC: I paid for the L’Oreal Collection Privee The Perfect Nudes lipsticks myself. This is an honest review.

I recently found the L’Oreal Collection Privee The Perfect Nudes lipsticks at my local Walmart. Finally some nude lipsticks for women of color. I was so happy I found them because I had been looking for a nude lipstick. I saw this collection advertised either on tv or a magazine, but I couldn’t find them in stores. SO far, I have only seen them in Walmart and Ulta.

Beauty Bit- The Balm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Palette Review

FTC: I was sent The Balm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Palette from Kohls. This is an honest review.

Kohls recently sent me The Balm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Palette and I love it. The natural colors can be worn many different ways. You can also create looks for day and for night. I love that the eyeshadows are triple milled which mean that they are super smooth. They lasted a long time too. I used eyeshadow primer, but I think they would have lasted long regardless of my primer use because they just really laid on top of my eyelid. The color payoff is amazing too. I think this palette is going to serve me well.

Beauty Bit- Get the Perfect Fall Face With Maybelline Dream Wonder Liquid Foundation

I have been trying out the Maybelline Dream Wonder Liquid Foundation, and I think it is the perfect fall foundation. It is so light and airy on my face. It doesn’t feel thick at all. Actually I can’t feel it after it dries. It really is only for normal or oily skin. It leaves a matte finish, so if you have dry skin you will look like Casper. It is medium coverage. You can build it, but I wouldn’t put too much on if you don’t want to look like a ghost. When the right amount is on my face, my face glows and looks very natural. If I go a smidge over…I’m back to Casperville.

If you need to cover up some imperfections, just use some concealer. That is what I ended up doing. Another thing I did was our a little bit of the foundation out first and apply it with a brush. It is really loose and thin, so be careful and shake it up really well. The top of the bottle comes with a weird applicator. You are supposed to touch it with your fingers and then put it back on your face. That puts germs in your bottle, and that was the only con I could think of. I have found the Maybelline Dream Wonder Liquid Foundation in different stores for different prices. It is usually around $7 to $10 and you can always find Maybelline on sale. This is a great drugstore foundation. I recommend it.
