FTC: Boohoo.com sent me the jacket. I paid for the rest of the outfit myself. This is an honest review.
I just wanted to bring you this fall plus size fashion video with pieces from Boohoo and DSW. This is kind of a Halloween inspired video with the orange and black colors. This outfit was really fun to wear.
I recently got some wide calf boots from DSW that actually fit my calf muscles. Color me surprised. When I see a boot labeled wide calf in the store, they don’t usually fit. I get really skeptical when I see the label on boots because of that. However… When I went to DSW there were a ton of boots to pick from. Some fit and some didn’t, but the ones I bought look fantastic.
I am loving this new fall collection from Eloquii. They are calling it Rebel Yell and it was a grunge look to it with all of the plaids and ripped jeans. They also have some really great looking sweaters in this collection too! Eloquii really has been on the move lately. They just put new suits and tights on their website.

I know I am late to the party-preparing for finals y’all, but I had to post this. The Design Collective for Evans S/S15 fashion show was the first time a plus size retailer had shown at London Fashion Week, and that is big news. I mean they literally made history. A lot of the clothes in this collection are super cute. I love the colors, the laser cut skirts, the fabrics that went from really sheer to really solid. I can’t wait to see how they translate this to their website next season.
Here is a little more info for you:
Design Collective for Evans brings together a handpicked selection of renowned fashion designers, brand new breakthrough designers, the latest winners of the acclaimed Cut for Evans design competition and our exclusive in house designs. The exclusive catwalk event shows that high fashion is for all.

Here is my video of my new fall pieces from Ashley Stewart. I am no model, but I tried to show you the different ways to wear the skirt, shirt, and sweaters. The Skirt is $34.50 and has ruching down the side. The shirt has a removable jewelry piece at the neckline, is quilted, and is also $34.50. *SIDE NOTE- This top is fitted, so it you want a looser fit, order a size up. The sweaters or cardis are both $29.50 and felt warm on the chilly day that I shot my video in the shade.
I adore the pre-fall fashion in Eloquii’s new August lookbook. Prints and patterns are something that I think Eloquii does a great job of. Just because you are plus sized, that doesn’t mean you can have fun with color, shapes, prints, and patterns. There is a dress and a pair of pants in this lookbook that are calling my name y’all. I listed a few of my fave pieces down below. Photos from Eloquii. View the rest of the lookbook here.

Back in May, I introduced you all to designer Elann Zelie of Zelie for She; today I’m back with an update! Last Friday, Elann unveiled her latest collection, the “Print on Print” collection, which is the third collection from Zelie for She.
This collection features nine pieces with plus size blogger and model Kelly Augustine as the face. Augustine has also modeled for the “Forever Young” and “Definition” collection from Zelie for She. This collection features vibrant tribal and artistic prints.
Some of the items are available for pre-order only. The estimated delivery time for all pre-ordered items is August 15th.
Check out a few pieces and let us know what you think!
ASOS SALON for Curve is now on the site and it is gorgeous. They basically designed a vintage inspired, heavy embellished special occasion line that is perfect for summer weddings and other parties. I love the pastel colors and vintage feel. These are the types of things that I would look for a t a vintage bazaar. You can find all of the collection here.

So, last week I spoke with my fellow plus size ladies about shorts, and how to wear them, regardless of how they think they may look in them. This week, I’m going to get you all into dresses! I know that if you won’t wear shorts, you won’t wear a dress either, but hopefully that’s all going to change, right?
This week’s currently craving items are Fashion to Figure dresses. You’ve never heard of Fashion to Figure? No worries that is what I’m here for. Fashion to Figure is an affordable fashion retailer that is changing the way sizes 12-26 dress! There are several physical locations; hopefully one of them is near you!
There are so many dresses to choose from, however, I’m just going to choose my favorite four! Starting from the top left to the bottom right, we have:

Most plus size women are afraid to wear shorts because of how their legs and/or thighs may look in them (don’t worry, I’ll add in a few shorts that aren’t so short). However, with the spring season in full effect and summer not too far behind, it’s time to get over your fear of shorts; if not be prepared to die from a heatstroke! (Just kidding!)

You would never believe which fashion trend has made a comeback! Hint: the title of the article is a dead give-away. Overalls are slowly making their way back into some of our closets, some since summer of 2012. Thanks to celebrities like Rihanna, who decided to shoot her ‘You Da One’ music video wearing overalls back in December 2011. Since then, more designers and retailers are trying to keep the “back in the day” trend alive.
This week’s currently craving item are plus size crop tops! Crop tops are a trend that all plus size women should at least try. I am thinking of purchasing one myself just to see how I feel in it before I purchase more than one. With the rise of plus size designers, there are a lot of options for us, however, they sell out of the items fast! Below, I will list a few designers as well as retailers that carry crop tops for us plus size women.
Before purchasing, please keep in mind:
- If you aren’t comfortable showing your stomach, you can always layer it with a[n] [open] cardigan, blazer/jacket; so that only a bit of skin is showing.
- You can wear it under a sheer blouse.
- You can pair the crop top with a high-waisted skirt, pants, or the matching bottoms, if available.
These four crop tops, one is actually a dress, are rule breakers for us curvy girls! Who said curvy girls can’t be stylish too? We’ll start from the top left to the bottom right!
There are many other sites that have crop tops, some aren’t available as of right now, but if you come across some that are, please comment the website/store name below! We want to know where you are buying your plus size crop tops this season! Photos from the retailers mentioned above.
I love ASOS CURVE!!! Thanks for the coupon code you guys. I bought this ASOS CURVE Exclusive Smock Dress In Spot Check that I had been wanting to make. Now I don’t have to. It may still be on sale when you see this video, but the original price is $84.69. I love how it has a check plaid and polka dot print on it but it doesn’t look busy. The dress also has an asymmetrical hem that swooshes when you walk. CUTE!

Boohoo.com now has plus size clothes!!!! I always wondered when/if they would be getting plus sizes. I am so excited that they gifted me a few items for review. Thanks Boohoo.com! They let me pick three items of choice, and now that I have seen everything in the flesh…I am in LURVE!
The thing I like about Boohoo is that they have a lot of trendy clothes mixed in with some basics and very practical items as well for a very, very good price. Everything I received was either $36 or $40. I got the Charlotte Metallic Contrast Trim Jersey Jacket, Lillian Graphic Print Woven Top, Evie Mesh Hem Panel Midi Dress. I can’t wait to wear this stuff.
