As I recall, a few days ago, I went to the Designer’s Collective show in Chelsea. The days are starting to run together, but at least I am not sick anymore. I was excited for the Designer’s Collective show because I didn’t know what to expect, and I love seeing new designers.
The five designers that showed were very talented and extremely creative. Wendy Ross Kaufman showed a beautiful rose inspired collection. Farai Simoya’s collection was inpsired by the desert with sand and coral colored jackets and dresses. Swiyyah Couture’s “Metropolis” collection was a futuristic neon blast.
Mason Sylvester showed a menswear collection that featured old patterns, color, swimwear, and knits perfect for Miami. Bianca Rachele was the last to show with a delicate collection perfect for evenings out and special occasions. These talented designers really were exciting to watch, and I’m sure they will be even more exciting to see their future.
