OMG! I’m so excited to celebrate my blog’s birthday/blogaversary/whatever you want to call it. I started The Fat and Skinny on Fashion, as a hobby, on January 3rd, 2009. I never knew people would actually read it. Now it has become my graduate thesis project, and way more than just a hobby.
I have done so much and experienced so much since I started this blog, and I couldn’t have done it without my readers. You guys are the best. Because I love you guys so much, there are going to be a series of contests going on this month! I know you can’t wait!

Congrats on the anniversary, Jai! I am a fairly new follower and I love your blog! I think you know my favorite post. “Cue the crazy eyes!” lol! Happy blogaversary!
My favorite Fat and Skinny On Fashion moment has GOT to be the post about the Boost Your Carma video. I’m OBSESSED with 40′s, 50′s, and 60′s fashion. I adore polka dots, luscious curls, winged eyeliner and a red lip. The only problem, for me, is that there’s hardly any plus sized representation in these era’s. The Boost Your Carma video helped revamp my love for those fashion era’s because it was new and fresh, with that perfect vintage feel, all the while featuring a bigger girl.
