Currently Craving – Overalls

Overalls(2)

You would never believe which fashion trend has made a comeback! Hint: the title of the article is a dead give-away. Overalls are slowly making their way back into some of our closets, some since summer of 2012. Thanks to celebrities like Rihanna, who decided to shoot her ‘You Da One’ music video wearing overalls back in December 2011. Since then, more designers and retailers are trying to keep the “back in the day” trend alive.

And guess what? They are now available in plus sizes! The overalls that are made today are extremely stylish, affordable, and cute; they are not only made in denim, but prints as well. Not to mention, some are actually dresses. Below are four out of the many choices us plus size women have to choose from. Like always, we’ll start from the top left and end down at the bottom right.

Sidebar: the railroad stripe overall dress from Forever21+ is my favorite!

(1) Railroad Stripe Overall Dress – $24.80 (Forever21+)
(2) Denim Overall Dress In Acid Wash – $45.15 (ASOS CURVE)
(3) Royal Blue Destructed Overall – $49.90-$54.90 (Alloy)
(4) Dollhouse Denim Shortall – $34.90 (Wet Seal)

Sale Alert: ASOS is currently having a 50% off sale, but the deal gets even better! If you use the promo code: MORE10, you’ll receive an extra 10% off your purchase!

I haven’t bought a pair yet, but I have been thinking of it. I can’t wait for the summer!

That is why I have been reluctant to try them, but they look so cute.
