Just like the little black dress, the classic black pump or a cute pair of black heels have a classic appeal to them. You can wear them with everything and wear them just about anywhere. Few shoes will get you as much mileage as the classic black pump. While looking on ASOS, I saw a slew of black pumps that instantly caught my eye. Some are available in half and wide sizes. All of the ones that I picked are under $100, but the ones below are just a sliver of what you will find on the website. Photo from ASOS.
ASOS Curve‘s fall collection is fiyah!!! They just released the images yesterday, but I couldn’t blog about it because I had a patternmaking class last night. I was so antsy, I wanted to show these pictures last night because the collection is full of grunge meets preppy pieces that I love. I can’t wait for this collection to come out. There is a tan coat that I will need if we have another winter like last winter.
The plaid pieces speak to me because if you know me, plaid is mah thang! I mean I just sewed up a plaid half scale dress in garment construction last quarter. I am also intrigued by the midi skirts. I just starting buying midi skirts. I used to think they looked weird on my, but now after wearing one and looking super cute I am all in. I might need to buy these ASOS ones as well. The collection should be on ASOS.com soon.
The ASOS Summer Sale is Now at up to 70% off! That is a whole lot of wow! The shoes are cute and vary from winter to summer season shoes. The prices are great too! The only thing is that now that the sale has been going on for some time, a lot of the sizes are gone. Run…don’t walk to the ASOS Summer Sale!
ASOS SALON for Curve is now on the site and it is gorgeous. They basically designed a vintage inspired, heavy embellished special occasion line that is perfect for summer weddings and other parties. I love the pastel colors and vintage feel. These are the types of things that I would look for a t a vintage bazaar. You can find all of the collection here.

It may still be on sale when you see this video, but the original price is $84.69. I love how it has a check plaid and polka dot print on it but it doesn’t look busy. This week I found three plus size sweaters to buy this fall. Now is the time to buy so you can be prepared for the first little chill. Each one of these sweaters features a fall trend – ombre, animal print, minimalistic color-blocking! My favorite has to be the ASOS CURVE Ombre Open Knit Sweater for $67.50. I am also partial to the Women’s Plus Color Block Tunic Sweaters from Old Navy for $43.94. Those sweaters come in two colors. The one above is the neutral sweater and the other one is red.
The Animal Heart Sweater from Lane Bryant is regularly $59.95 and super cute to boot. I can imagine myself wearing that sweater with my new flare skirt. I’m telling you to buy these three plus size sweaters now because this weekend will be full of Labor Day sales! Lane Bryant even has a code (LDAY40LB) for 40% off the Animal Heart Sweater above. Old Navy has 30% off with code SPREE. I will be sure to update this space with the code from ASOS when I find it out. They do have a sale on their sale items right now that is up to 70%, so jump on that. Photos from the store mentioned above.

There are a lot of cool collections and designer drops this fall like Carmakoma to ASOS. Now ASOS Curve Jewelry, coming in August, is another one. You may have noticed ASOS Curve little pieces of jewelry here and there, but not a larger selection will be available this fall. I can’t wait to check out the ID necklaces, bracelets and rings they have for sale. The prices are pretty good too. The range will be priced from $10-$51. Check back on the ASOS site for details on the jewelry launch. Photo from ASOS.

The ASOS CURVE Rainbow Maxi Dress With Necklace Trim is flouncy and fun and very summery. They say it looks like a rainbow, but to me it looks like a beautiful sunset. You don’t need much jewelry for this dress because the collar doubles as a gold necklace. The dress is to die for and is on sale for $110.31, but is totally worth the price. Score the gladiator shoe trend kicked off by Alexander Wang SS 2013 for less with ASOS’ Hostage heel. The Alexander Wang Saskia shoe has been seen on many celebrities this spring, but you can get a scaled down, wearable version from ASOS for $64.62. Now that is a steal and a deal! Finding a plus size winter coat that fits is one thing. Finding a cute plus size winter coat is another. Luckily plus size brands have been stepping up their coat game something fierce. I found a few cute coats from the brands above, but they weren’t they only cute plus size winter coats that I found. The amount of plus size winter coats out there is amazing. Photos from Avenue, Old Navy, ASOS, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
ASOS, Topshop, and Forever 21 have some really affordable options for the chunky necklace trend. Editors and bloggers have been seen pairing these types of necklaces with collared button down shirts and even not so basic tees. I am not a big jewelry wearer, but when I do wear jewelry these are the types of necklaces I wear. I really love wearing them with my dresses because they can act as a statement piece. Click above for more info.
I love basic tees, but there is really something special about a t-shirt that has a cut-out, is cropped, hangs off the side, or dips in the back that speaks to me. Those are the not so basic tees, and every girl should have one! You can wear them just about anywhere with just about anything. Try them with jeans and leggings, short or long skirts, and underneath blazers and vests. These tees from ASOS are perfect! Click on them for more information.
I am in love with this rainbow colored Aldo McCamish Printed Pointed Court shoe on sale at ASOS! It comes in two different colors. The main difference is heel color. One heel is blue and the other is purple. My personal fave is the blue. The shoe used to be $107.71 but now it is $74.71. You better get this shoe while it is on sale! Photo from ASOS.

I love bright blazers. They are the best thing to go from dreary winter to bright spring. Bright blazers look great on every skin tone, and they work best with every shape. I mean have you ever seen someone in a bright blazer that looked a complete hot mess? I haven’t. Try the trend yourself with some of the options above. Photos from Forever 21+ and ASOS.
