I love the classic look of Timberland boots in the fall, but these boots from Boohoo are even better. They come in the classic sand and a go with everything black. The platform is super serious and at $70 will give an edge above all the basics running around. This show would look really hot with some rolled up jeans like these from Boohoo’s plus line. Super bad ass. Photo from Boohoo.com.

I recently got some wide calf boots from DSW that actually fit my calf muscles. Color me surprised. When I see a boot labeled wide calf in the store, they don’t usually fit. I get really skeptical when I see the label on boots because of that. However… When I went to DSW there were a ton of boots to pick from. Some fit and some didn’t, but the ones I bought look fantastic.
The nude slingback pump is the outfit game changer. Why? Because you can wear it just like you wear your favorite pair of nude pumps. The open nature of the shoe allows you to show more of you stockings or fancy printed or fishnet tights. They are also a neutral colored shoe which means they will go with most everything. Say yes to a multitasking shoe. This faux suede pair from Forever 21 are the perfect way to try this trend without breaking the bank. I think $29.80 is the perfect price. The picture comes from Forever 21.
The mule is fall’s new shoe. Every brand and every store is sending out their options for fall. Some mules are platforms and some or single soles. Some have that 90s chunky heel that came back last spring. There are even a ton of wedge options available as well. I like the slingback versions with the strap too. Shoedazzle has a ton of mules out right now. Other stores like Forever 21, Topshop, and others are chock full of this type of shoe. Some people think they look awkward on the foot, but I love them. They started gaining traction last spring. You know how trends need an introduction phase. I wrote about it here, but now they will be out in full force this fall. Are you going to try this trend? Check out a few options below. Photo from ASOS.

August is here and now is the time to stock up on pre-fall booties. I have to go to the mall every week as a homework assignment to observe things for class- such a difficult assignment I know- and I have been noticing all of the new fall merchandise.
Light sweaters, dressy sweatpants, wool blazers, and light coats have been posted up in stores since most summer sales ended last week. When I move over to the shoe section, I can see the first few pairs of pre-fall booties. These booties are great because they can be worn late summer and all the way through winter
and low key through early spring and summer too.
This pair from Solestruck is great because you can get a black pair, a white pair, or a pair with both colors. Black and white can go with most anything in your wardrobe, and the platform should make them easier to walk in and wear. Also ignore that haters that say you can’t wear white after Labor Day. Every year I say that, and every year someone gets in a tizzy over that. Bah I say! Bah!
Anyway the booties are selling for $64.95, but you can get 30% if you sign up to their website. You also get 40% sale shoes for their 10th anniversary sale. You must be signed in to get both sales and it ends Thursday at noon. Happy pre-fall shopping!
Loafers are the perfect back to school shoe. When I was in grade school and college, I used to wear loafers all the time. I am looking for new pair now. I think loafers are a very classic shoe that is easy to wear. They are great because you can dress them up or down with jeans or dresses. I don’t think anybody at any age can go wrong with a classic loafer. This pair from Target comes in five different colors for only $24.99. Cheap and chic. Picture from Target.
Just a quick note: I am still having difficulties with the Bad Bish video blog posts. Please bear with me.
Shoedazzle is still having a really great sale at the moment, so this is a good time to stock up on printed pumps like the Trista. Printed pumps are great for all seasons because you can buy a shoe with a funky print and wear it a nice solid color outfit.
They make outfits pop in an unbelievable way. They also make you look super stylish. The Trista pumps were $54.95. Since they are the VIP Daily Deal today, you can get the shoes for $39.95. You have to be a VIP member though. Join here and run to that sale before it is too late.
P.S. posting will be sporadic this week because my computer has been acting up. I don’t really know what is going on, but I hope it works itself out soon.
I have really been loving all of the block heel sandals lately. This summer the shortened block heel is in. They are usually around 1-2 inches, but don’t look like a kitten heel. They are also easier on the feet than the skinnier heel no matter what height they come in. This particular pair of block heel sandals comes in three colors from Target. Although the Black and Cognac are nice, I think the Neutral colored pair is a very laid back look. The Mossimo heel has a few studs near the toe, and was $29.99. If you act quickly, you can get the shoe on sale for $25.48. Add the shoe to your summer wardrobe today.
The ASOS Summer Sale is Now at up to 70% off! That is a whole lot of wow! The shoes are cute and vary from winter to summer season shoes. The prices are great too! The only thing is that now that the sale has been going on for some time, a lot of the sizes are gone. Run…don’t walk to the ASOS Summer Sale!
Shoedazzle is having a ton of sales right now. The one that ends today is the summer sandal sale. All of the summer sandals are going for $24.95, they also have 30% off of their sale shoes. My favorite summer sandal on the site right now is the Lacka By Scene . This sandal has a high platform, sexy straps, animal print, and it comes in two beautiful colors. Check it out now while it is on sale. Remember the 30% off sale on sale items is ongoing, but the $24.95 summer sandal sale ends today.
Summer is most definitely the time for the high heeled sandal. They are perfect to wear with jeans-both cropped, skinny, and boyfriend-, skirts and dresses on the go or at work, and whatever you decide to that fancy summer wedding. I love this pair that I found on Zooshoo. They come in this cute green, cream, and black, and are so affordable you could buy all three to expand your shoe wardrobe. Photo from Zooshoo.

I am loving these printed strappy heels from Missguided. They are only $44.98, but look really classy and chic. I think the colorful floral print will add to any outfit, whether it is a dressed down jean outfit or a little black dress. The shoes make the outfit pop, so I think they are better suited as an accent piece for any minimal looking outfit. Missguided gives you 15% off if you are a student, and these shoes are going fast, so jump on it!
I love these clunky, chunky 90s inspired platform heels from Boohoo.com. They are so cute! They come in white and black, which I love, but the nude pair is my favorite. These kind of shoes look great with cropped tailored dress pants, wide leg pants (denim and dress pants), or even with dresses and skirts. Don’t these shoes remind you of Clueless? I’m so in love with these shoes. You know how I love a good platform heel. Get these shoes from Boohoo.com for $65. Photo from Boohoo.com

Shoedazzle has a great selection of summer sandals at really great prices! I saw this pair, called the Skylar, that comes in black and turquoise. The turquoise version is almost sold out! It on sale for $29.95 if you are a Shoedazzle VIP or ten dollars more for regular customers. Either way, that isn’t a bad price. It is almost Memorial Day, the unofficial start of the summer. If you haven’t bought a pair of summer sandals yet.. you should. You can wear these shoes with anything from jeans, to shorts, to dresses! You better get you a pair. Photo from Shoedazzle.
The Women’s Meridian Buckle Sandal is one of the hottest gladiator pumps from Payless. They have a whole slew of gladiator styles from flats to heels, but this pair from their Brash line are my favorite. They come in black and cognac and only cost $39.99, but they are on sale this week for $29.99! Get this trendy shoe for less while it lasts. Photo from Payless.
H&M has an affordable Birkenstock alternative for you to try this summer for only $24.95. This slip-on sandal has two imitation leather straps that criss-cross over the foot, what seems to be a cork foot base, and then a rubber sole. If you really want to try the Birkenstock look without the price, this shoe is it. This is the cheapest version I have seen this season. Check it out at H&M.
Spring is here, and it is finally bringing us some warmer weather-
even if it is a few degrees or two. Anyway. I saw the Jeffrey Campbell Hough Heel from Shop Nasty Gal and just had to share. The shoe comes in black and these super chic nude pair. The shoes look really good with jeans and floral dresses.
Do you remember mules? Those weird, yet cute shoes that look… well weird, yet cute on everyone’s feet and were popular in the 90s. Yeah. As with all things 90s, this too is seeing a comeback. This trend is definitely one of those hit or miss trends like the the recent Birkenstock craze. Also is there really a wrong or right way to wear these awkward looking shoes?
I think the best way to wear these are with midi skirts and cropped pants or jeans. They might look good with a rolled cuff skinny jean or a boyfriend jean too. I put a few high and low priced options below. Spring is a great time to explore with new trends. I think I may try one of the Forever 21 mules down below. I like the black one with the brown heel that also has a strap. I feel like the strap gives the shoe a less naked feel. As much as I am loving this resurgence in 90s, I really hope dial-up doesn’t come back. Picture from Nordstrom.

Boohoo Gemma Embroidered Peep Toe Plaque Ankle Strap heels are the perfect nude peep toe sandals. Last week I wrote about nude shoes too. They will be big this spring, and with spring less than 30 days away now is the time to get your shoe game tight and right!
