After a few days of recouping from fashion week, I am finally able to write the last two Charleston Fashion Week posts. On Saturday, I went to my first bridal show, which is weird because my mom plans weddings. When I walked into the tent, it was transformed into a wedding reception with snacks and cakes from the various vendors and plenty of blushing soon to be brides…and a few annoyed fiances too.
There were designs by designers and boutiques YoYo Designs, Modern Trousseau, Charleston Wedding Dress by Alena Fede, Belle Couture Bridal & Kira Elizabeth Designs, White, Maddison Row & Bella Bridesmaid, and Heidi Elnora.
While I loved all of the wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, mother of the brides dresses, and flower girls dresses, I was most impressed with Heidi Elnora. She was on Project Runway season two and has boutiques in Atlanta and Birmingham. Elnora also sells her dresses in boutiques around the country.
These dresses were gorgeous. The detailing was fantastic, and when the models walked out with flowers and branches in their hair, we all went “oohh and aahh!” Her gowns are towards the end of the video, please check them out!
Hopefully this won’t be my last bridal show. I want to explore bridal more often on the blog. Let me know if you are interested in bridal posts.
