If you have been following my blog, then you know that I have been writing a three part Cleaning Out Your Closet series this month. The first post featured Tiffany Marie Tucker and taught you how to build a capsule wardrobe. The second post showed you how to organize your closet. The third post will teach you how to organize your jewelry. Organizing your jewelry can get messy, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Sometimes people have necklaces all tangled up and earrings and rings all over the place. Bracelets….yeah. Who knows where they are? You don’t have to lose your jewelry or get it tangled up. Look below to see a few things that will help you stay organized.

There are three things that I want my clients and you to use when you are organizing your jewelry. Hanging racks, soft lined boxes, and acrylic containers are the best ways to organize your jewelry. I love hanging racks because they come in really cute designs that can fit in with your decor at home. I also like them because they fit nicely on your dresser or vanity. They have many hooks at varying lengths so you can hang necklaces, bracelets, and rings on them.

The reason I love soft lined boxes is because they are stackable, and you all know how I love stackable items because they save space. Because they are boxes, you can put them in drawers or other storage containers if your want them out of sight and out of mind. One of the things that I really love about soft lined boxes, is that they are soft lined. That means that there is a soft velvet like fabric lining the sides and bottom of the boxes so that they can protect your jewelry. You don’t need your jewelry getting snagged on things.

My most favorite jewelry organizer of all time is the acrylic container. This is also the item I use to organize my makeup. Acrylic Containers are perfect for organizing makeup for the same reason they are perfect for organizing your jewelry. Why? Well they are clear, so you can see everything that is in there. You will always know where you placed certain jewelry. The clear sides make it easier to see everything. They also have different sized drawers and containers that you can fit different types of items in. I also like how they are stackable and come in different sizes. How do you store your jewelry? Which method do you prefer? If you enjoyed this Cleaning Out Your Closet series, let me know.
