Today I bring you part two of a series I have decided to call Crafty Feast Features. Today’s featured artist is Sara Lee Parker. Before we move on, check out last week’s post to catch up. Now back to Sara. When I walked into Sara Lee Parker’s tent at Crafty Feast I was stunned to see such beautiful printed fabric and greeting cards. Then she told me she screen printed them on her own in Georgia, and I was flabbergasted.
There is a slight touch of vintage goodness in her designs that is mixed with something new that I can’t quite put my finger on. The only way I can explain it is that I could see her fabric, aprons, cards, bags, napkins, and pillow cases sold in Cracker Barrel and Anthropologie all at the same time. There is something for the young and the old in her goods because I can sense something familiar in them.
Her prices are great too! Her cards are just $10, napkins are $35, and aprons are $40. Bags vary in price from $15 to $25. Pillow covers and tea towels are $25 and $20 respectively. Small pieces of fabric are $10, but she also does fabric by the yard. Just talk to her about how to order that. If you want to order her items, go to her Etsy page and also check out her inspiration on Tumblr. Photos from Sara Lee Parker.
