Last night I went downtown to A Devine Night Out. It was Columbia’s version of Fashions Night Out and I had a blast. Every store on Devine Street was open and full of people. Shop owners served drinks and snacks as shoppers perused racks of clothes, and restaurants stayed open to provide people with warm food. I wish I had stopped in one of those restaurants. Everyone looked so warm and toasty, but I stuck to the shops. There was also a nice raffle with great prizes from local spots.
The first store I went to was LaRoque. You have heard me talk about her store many times before, like right here and here. She had some great skirts, blouses, and dresses available now. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll go down there now. Check out LaRoque designer Annabelle in a skirt of her own design.
The next shop I went to was Pink Sorbet. Pink Sorbet fills all of your Lilly Pulitzer needs. There are Lilly Pulitzer men, women, and children’s clothing and accessories. Stop by this Lilly Pulitzer Via Shop before you next sunny vacay.
After Pink Sorbet I made it into Bohemian Home which had some nice gift items. I really want one of the glitter skulls. They come in so many colors, but I think the silver or pink skulls are the best colors. They have some awesome home items too, so if you haven’t been Christmas shopping yet get cracking.
Another store that had great gift ideas was Just the Thing, and they literally had just the thing for all of your Christmas presents this year. There were clothes and accessories for women, baby gift ideas, chic day planners, and jewelry.
I walked into VanJean, which is right across the way from Just the Thing. There was a ton of jewelry and designer shoes and clothes. The Tory Burch shoes and bags were so cute. I also saw some camel pants that were too die for. VanJean owner Melissa Blanchard wears some awesome clothes, so you know the selection at her store is to die for.
Later on when the stores were about to close, I visited clothing store Brittons and jewelry store Handpicked. Both stores were packed with tons of people. Brittons has some great winter clothes for men and women, but they also had great colorful jewelry and great New Years Eve sequins dresses. Handpicked had some great jewelry too. I may go back there to check out the rings, when the store is less crowded.
Handpicked
It looks like you had a blast ! Great fun.
