I got up really early today, and got on a 6am flight to NYC. I tried to get a nap after I got in because I knew I had a busy day, but I wasn’t feeling too hot. Well the sudden cold snap back home and the cold snap here in NYC, combined with the humid rain, has really done a number on my body. I just stayed in bed the rest of the afternoon. I need to rest my body up.
Despite that, I went to #IFBcon for a quick bit before heading up the street to the Hyden Yoo show. Back at #IFBcon, I was able to meet new people, see old friends, and get into some great sponsors. I loved the new ALDO Rise line, and I can’t wait for it to come out. Mynx nails was giving attendees Magnum Ice Cream inspired nails, and I got a new bobble water bottle. Oh and don’t be jealz, but I also got a new Urban Decay eyeshadow palette.
I also learned some great advice. What I got from the two panels I watched was invaluable advice for any blogger at any level. We basically have to stop selling ourselves short, and STOP UNDERVALUING OURSELVES!!!!! Got it!? But at the same time, we can’t just ask a brand to pay us for a certain amount when we can’t back it up. We have to know our limits.
