When I went to NYC for fashion week, one of the showrooms I visited was the Atelier Minyon showroom in the SoHo. If you know me, you know that I don’t really wear jewelry, but the jewelry there was amazing. I could see myself wearing some the of rings and necklaces. Thanks Erin for showing me around.
Everything is inspired by Turkey and Turkish culture. The designer is Turkish too. Some of the pieces feature animals, and others feature actual Turkish buildings and columns. The pieces range in price from $80 to thousands of dollars. Most pieces are not only handmade, but one of a kind. My favorite piece was the bracelet molded from opossum bones and studded with upside jewels. Very cool.
