My Fave Pre-Fall Beauty Picks

I just recently received my Fall 2016 Sephora inside JCPenney catalog, and now I can’t wait to show you my fave  pre-fall beauty picks from Sephora and some of my fave beauty stores. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and fall beauty is my favorite type of beauty. I love the dark lips and smoky eyes. I love all those things that make fall beauty great. Check out my pre-fall beauty

Jewel toned color palettes are great for the fall months and holiday parties. Everybody needs a little glitter and shimmer to get their eyes together. Too Faced’s Totally Cute Sticker Eye Shadow Collection $36 and Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadow Palette $49 are two of my favorite new eyeshadow palettes.  The colors are bright and cheery, and they look great enough to make an amazing smokey eye. Quick tip: the Too Faced palette also comes with a set of stickers.

Everybody needs a good concealer. Even if they have perfect skin, a blemish-bug bite-or some other type of hyper pigmentation can appear out of nowhere. Sephora has some of the best concealers out there. I know this because I went there and tried a few of them. Concealers are also great for contouring and highlighting as well. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer $29  is available in 16 shades, and really is as creamy as the name states. When I say this concealer feels oh so good on the skin…. Yaaaaaaasss!!! Smashbox’s Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer $25 is only available in 10 shades, but it is great for covering blemishes and contouring the face. It is also great for highlighting the brow bone and under the eye.

Foundation is the basis of makeup. It is literally the foundation that you put on your face before you put anything else on. Because of that, you need a foundation that will make your skin look stunning. As the weather changes and temperatures get cooler, your skin may get a little drier. Many people don’t realize that you may need a different foundation during the fall and winter. I try to change my foundation between seasons because my skin gets drier and lighter in color. If you have oily skin, try a powder. If you have combination or dry skin, try a liquid or cream foundation. The Sephora Collection products by Sephora are really good store brand makeup. Don’t sleep on them. The Sephora Collection Matte Perfection Powder Foundation $20 is a new powder foundation that has been getting great reviews on the website. This foundation is great for combination/oily skin. If you have dry skin, try the 15 Hour Hydrating Foundation from Smashbox $42.

During the fall, I love to experiment with different bright red and dark wine red lipsticks. That is one of my favorite things about fall beauty. I love going to store and trying different colors on. Sometimes I will go with a lip color that is more purple or brown or red or even black.  I always tell people that the fall is the best time to experiment with a darker color. Lighter colors look better in the spring and summer. Go red, red wine or even goth with it. Have fun. After all that is what wearing makeup is really about. Having fun. Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche Lipstick $29 is so creamy that you won’t have to worry about having chapped or dry lips, and they come in the craziest colors from the nudest nude to the blackest black. The Rouge Matte Lipstick by the Sephora Collection  $12.50 gives a beautiful matte finish. If you want to try a deep wine color, try shade M11 from this line.

If you don’t remember anything from this post, remember to experiment this fall with some of these beauty looks! Photos from Sephora.
