New York Fashion Week Fall 2k9!

Abaeté had a real soft, neutral palette. Maybe the recession is to blame for the lack of color,or maybe the fact that it is a fall season collection explains the lack of color. I still liked it anyway.

Bibhu Mohapatra was a name I hadn’t heard before. I don’t even know where to start as far as pronunciation goes, but I liked his collection. The colors were rich and full, and the fabrics were amazing. Apparently this is his debut. I want to see more of his work. GOOD LUCK!

Christian Cota said his collection was based on upheavals in beauty and nature. I believe it. His collection was an explosions of sparkles, bursts of leather, and fabric shaped like it was exploding off of the models. I loved these clothes because they were fun and beautiful at the same time.
