I am just going to say that even though I liked these two collections, they looked too similar. I did like the geometric shapes of the patterns and geometric construction of the clothes. The only thing that bothered me was the weird disconnect between the pieces in the Helmut Lang collection. Half of it looked like BCBG and the other half looked like Urban Outfitters.

P.S. I am loving these blue nails at Vena Cava, which is ironic because I totes just bought a shade close to this over the weekend. Whoa!

I think the Helmut Lang collection appealed to me at first because it's so familiar – on closer inspection, the lack of progression is actually really boring!
Just stumbled upon your blog, loved reading through past posts 🙂 thanks!
I almost fell asleep flicking through Helmut Lang's collection. Dull, dull, dull. I did enjoy Max Azria's disconnected dresses, though. Actually my favourite collection so far has been Prabal Gurung – I'm such a sucker for dresses!
Thanks Laura! I can say that the other collections have gotten better.
