We all know that once the seasons change, so does our make up. Continuing to wear the same foundation, concealer, blush and various other products as you did in the summer doesn’t work. I love eye make up, but having the right type of blush brings life to anyone’s face. This week is going to be dedicated to cheeks so make sure you visit everyday to get the 411 on how to make your cheeks fabulous. This post is going to give you the key to having the perfect fall cheeks.

FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT: Drink water. In the winter the cold air can cause the skin to dry out and flake easily. The trick to having the perfect blush look in the winter is having a certain glow to your skin. If the skin is not properly taken care of, then there is not way to bring out the natural glow in your skin so drink up 🙂
— You want the skin to look glowing and warm. The following tips will help you achieve this look. Let me know which works for you.
Helpful Blush TIP :): Always tap excess off before you apply it to your face.
1. Bronze Up To It: One way to achieve this look is to apply a sheer shimmery bronzer to contour the cheeks (use shimmery bronzer with a very light hand). Use a kabuki brush or the brush that you use to apply your blush. Once you have the bronzer in place, slightly drag it up to the apples of the cheeks. You do not need to reapply bronzer for this step, just simply drag the bronzer to the apples of the cheeks. Next go into a warm color blush and apply it to the apples of the check. This will help you achieve Hayden’s look in the picture above.
Example of a Warm Blush: Benefit’s Coralista
2. Round It Out: Another flattering way to bring color to your face in the fall is to focus on the bottoms of the apples of the cheeks. This look can be seen on Km Kardashian and Gabrielle Union above. Apply your blush lightly in apply letter U swipe. Apply a highlight the upper half of the apples of the cheek. This look is simple as 1 2 3.
Example of a highlighter: Urban Decay’s Urbanglow
3. Livin’ the High Life: The last technique I am going to talk about is bringing attention to the cheekbones. This technique is great for those with high cheekbones. You can see an example of this in Zoe Saldana’s picture above.Start by applying the blush to the apples of the cheeks and then sweep the color back towards the temples. Next place your choice of highlighter on the tip of your index finger and trace your cheekbone upward. This will give your face an instant lift.
