Selma Hayek launched Nuance beauty product line at CVS recently. I heard about this product line a few months back, maybe even a year ago. I gave it a shrug and said whatever. You hear about celebrity skincare lines and clothing lines all the time. Sometimes they are really, really good and other times they can be really, really bad. I didn’t know at the time that she was going to come out with a whole line of skincare, beauty, and haircare products. I mean there are a lot of products for different needs in this line. She really thought this line out.
I think I am going to give some of these Nuance products a try. The story is that Selma Hayek’s grandmother was a cosmetologist and taught Selma the secrets of skincare. Oooohhh the seeeeeccreeettts. Whatever that is, right? While I could care less about granny’s secrets, I do like the fact that products range in price from $2.99 to $19.99, so I am not breaking the bank.
The only thing I am not a fan of is the limited color range for all colors, not just ethnic skintones, and the packaging. As an minority woman, she could have done better with the colors. I think it would be rare for someone, with the lightest skin to the darkest skin, to find there foundation color. The packaging, with all those weird looking flowers running up the side of them, and name is just plain weird to me. Anywho? Are you going try Selma Hayek’s Nuance products.
