ASOS is an amazing store. I love all of the brands that they have on the website, but my favorite is ASOS Curve. Today’s video is about ASOS Curve and some of the other features on the ASOS website that I really like. ASOS is known for their trendy and edgy clothing. Their own plus size label, ASOS Curve, is known for the same.
The ASOS Curve sale is going on right now and I’m here to bring you a few of my favorite items. These clothes will probably sell out fast because everyone loves a sale, especially one thrown by ASOS. Now is the best time to some of those trendy pieces you were looking at, but your funds were too low to buy.
With the tensions between Cuba and the US dying down, and the recent Chanel Resort fashion show in Cuba, it is no small wonder that Latin American inspiration is a big trend in fashion right now. Brands are making fabrics with tropical plants and animals on them. Bright, bold colors are showing up on many garments, and tassels and fringe are adorning the trims of many of the pieces being released into stores today.
Easter is right around the corner, so I am currently looking for plus size Easter dresses to wear to church. My search has not been a good one. I found a dress at Old Navy today, but I am going to return it because it does not fit right. It also is a bit too sheer. I can see through the lining. I am not trying to have that kind of moment at church.
Where would we be without ASOS and ASOS Curve plus size work pants? I haven’t done a Currently Craving blog post in while and suddenly got inspired by a conversation in one of my favorite Facebook groups. The ladies of the groups were discussing how hard it is to find pantsuits and decent, professional looking workwear in general. If it is hard for straight size women to find decent workwear, imagine how hard it is for plus sized women. Cue ASOS.
If you have been reading this blog for a few years, then I am sure you know that the fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I love wearing sweaters and wrapping my neck in scarves. I love getting my glove and hat sets together. These are the things that make me smile. Last week we saw Gabifresh model the clothes in ASOS Curve’s fall lookbook. She looked so great! Sooo good!
So you may recall me talking about how I am shopping for dresses to wear to several weddings this year on the blog and social media. Well I still am looking for some plus size dresses because I just learned that one of the weddings will be held outside. That changes things. Now I need to find something that won’t be too hot or too cold depending on the weather.
Another day another holiday gift guide. This time I had to hook the plus size gals up! I added a few items from clothes to underwear to accessories, shoes, and jewelry. Everything is $150 or less so you don’t break the bank too much. Just like yesterday’s holiday gift guide for men, some of these items are already on sale. I hope you enjoy.
ASOS SALON for Curve is now on the site and it is gorgeous. They basically designed a vintage inspired, heavy embellished special occasion line that is perfect for summer weddings and other parties. I love the pastel colors and vintage feel. These are the types of things that I would look for a t a vintage bazaar. You can find all of the collection here.

Most plus size women are afraid to wear shorts because of how their legs and/or thighs may look in them (don’t worry, I’ll add in a few shorts that aren’t so short). However, with the spring season in full effect and summer not too far behind, it’s time to get over your fear of shorts; if not be prepared to die from a heatstroke! (Just kidding!)

You would never believe which fashion trend has made a comeback! Hint: the title of the article is a dead give-away. Overalls are slowly making their way back into some of our closets, some since summer of 2012. Thanks to celebrities like Rihanna, who decided to shoot her ‘You Da One’ music video wearing overalls back in December 2011. Since then, more designers and retailers are trying to keep the “back in the day” trend alive.
I love ASOS CURVE!!! Thanks for the coupon code you guys. I bought this ASOS CURVE Exclusive Smock Dress In Spot Check that I had been wanting to make. Now I don’t have to. It may still be on sale when you see this video, but the original price is $84.69. I love how it has a check plaid and polka dot print on it but it doesn’t look busy. The dress also has an asymmetrical hem that swooshes when you walk. CUTE!

This week’s ‘currently craving’ item is the little black dress, or LBD as it is referred to by many people. Every woman needs to have a little black dress tucked away in their closets; they are the perfect outfit when you are looking for something last minute to throw on, especially if you aren’t in the mood to go shopping, which should never be the case! Little black dresses come in so many different styles, you should never be hesitant to purchase more than one black dress, because not every little black dress is appropriate for every event. To my curvy fashionistas, fear not, little black dresses come in our size too, this post is dedicated to you!

I want to buy the denim dress under the leather biker jacket, the grey mac coat, and one of the printed dresses. This lookbook is giving me life right now because outside my window in a crazy ass blizzard. I cannot wait for the weather to get to a point when I can wear something from this lookbook. Finding a plus size winter coat that fits is one thing. Finding a cute plus size winter coat is another. Luckily plus size brands have been stepping up their coat game something fierce. I found a few cute coats from the brands above, but they weren’t they only cute plus size winter coats that I found. The amount of plus size winter coats out there is amazing.
