Trend Report: The Basics Edition

trendreport

You know how much I love to talk about trends. Trust me, anything new that comes out I’m all over it like an umbrella.

But let’s be honest. I’m a college student (read: so broke, it’s not even funny) so I can’t afford to jump on every trend bandwagon out there. Who has the money to replace their wardrobe every season?

Plus, there can be too much of a good thing. Trend + trend + trend+ trend = a wtf outfit. Outfits are like a culinary dish. Trends are the spices on top of your basic potatoes, and a girl cannot subsist off of pepper alone.

So this post is just to celebrate those classic, perfect pieces which, when you think about it, really are the foundations for effortless style.
