The site carries dresses, tailored jackets, shirts, skirts and pants in key fabrications such as silk, leather, linen, cotton and textured melange, and shoes! Zara has finally set a date for their first American e-commerce site. The Spain based fast fashion chain will start selling clothes online to US shoppers on September 7th, the day before New York Fashion Week starts. I can’t believe that is a little more than a month away. I am too excited for this.
Earlier in the week, fast fashion chain H&M also revealed via Twitter that it too was going to open their online shop fro Americans, but they only revealed that it would be in early 2012. First they told us fall of 2011, now early 2012. They need to get on the ball and hurry up! Photo from Zara.
