Shoe of the Week- Pre-Fall Booties From Solestruck

pre-fall bootiesAugust is here and now is the time to stock up on pre-fall booties. I have to go to the mall every week as a homework assignment to observe things for class- such a difficult assignment I know- and I have been noticing all of the new fall merchandise.

Light sweaters, dressy sweatpants, wool blazers, and light coats have been posted up in stores since most summer sales ended last week. When I move over to the shoe section, I can see the first few pairs of pre-fall booties. These booties are great because they can be worn late summer and all the way through winter and low key through early spring and summer too.

This pair from Solestruck is great because you can get a black pair, a white pair, or a pair with both colors. Black and white can go with most anything in your wardrobe, and the platform should make them easier to walk in and wear. Also ignore that haters that say you can’t wear white after Labor Day. Every year I say that, and every year someone gets in a tizzy over that. Bah I say! Bah!

Anyway the booties are selling for $64.95, but you can get 30% if you sign up to their website.  You also get 40% sale shoes for their 10th anniversary sale. You must be signed in to get both sales and it ends Thursday at noon. Happy pre-fall shopping! 🙂

  • Cheap and Easy Fall Fashion: Make Cheap Chic:

While the fall season has offered a copious number of fashion trends, it has also refreshingly heralded the return of easy elegance that can make a statement with simple styles and neutral hues. Harper’s Bazaar shares affordable finds and shows you how to transform inexpensive pieces into timeless treasures

Hunt for rich-looking fabrics, mixing textures with an emphasis on contrast – for example, a leather jacket teamed up with a silky dress or a Banana Republic satin trench, with an organic knit. Plus, make a masculine-feminine point with a tailored jacket over a striped knit dress. For more looks, please visit this site.
