I see Norma Kamali, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy Couture,Roberto Cavalli, Gareth Pugh, Sergio Rossi, and Emilio Pucci. CLAWDAMERCY!!!!!
Balmain was not as good as I thought it would be. I was expecting Christophe Decarnin to stop taking the “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach, but I see that isn’t happening anytime soon. The same skinny pants and boxy jackets were there. The only thing that changed was the fact that they were a different color, and he finally stopped making those short, boxy, bodcon dresses.
Gareth Pugh was really good. It looked very creepy to me, but creepy in a good way. His makeup and hair always complements his collection. The shapes and color scheme were purely Pugh, but unlike Balmain, something seemed different. It reminded me of a space ghost, no not the cartoon.
I loved Limi Feu. That collection full of wide shapes and big hair was so cool to me. Limi Yamamoto really took what she learned from her dad and is making it her own. The collection was so classic to me.
Hakaan was another collection bathed in white. I am not really a fan of wearing white clothes all the time, but these designers are really making white look appealing to me. The pantsuits were amazing. Living up to the hype is hard, but Hakaan is doing it well.
YESTERDAY ANNA DELLO RUSSO HAD ASKED ME IF I’D LIKE TO JOIN HER AT HER SUITE AT THE RITZ AS SHE GOT READY FOR THE MASQUERADE BALL CELEBRATING VOGUE PARIS’ 90TH ANNIVERSARY. I THOUGHT WHY NOT AND I COULD NEVER SAY NO TO ANNA OF COURSE. IT’S NO SURPRISE THAT WHEN ANNA HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRESS UP, SHE WILL GO ALL OUT. FUNNILY ENOUGH, INSTEAD OF THE TAKING THE PREDICTABLE BORING ROUTE LIKE MOST PEOPLE DO WHEN THEY’RE INVITED TO A MASQUERADE BALL, ANNA WENT TO HER FRIEND, PETER DUNDAS, AND ASKED HIM TO CUSTOM DESIGN HER AN EXTRAVAGANT PUCCI BALL GOWN TO WEAR. TO MAKE THINGS EVEN MORE OVER THE TOP, SHE REQUESTED THE FEATHERED HEADPIECE FROM GARETH PUGH TO TOP OFF HER LACE MASK AND WHITE WIG. SHE TOLD ME HER INSPIRATION WAS LADY GAGA FOR THIS LOOK. I JUST HAVE TO SAY THANK GOD ANNA HAS FUN WITH FASHION BECAUSE SERIOUSLY WHO STILL DOES? ADR FOREVER!!!
Lately I’ve been inspired by by the spiritual world after spending many a night at my boyfriend’s mom’s house. (Which we think could potentially be very haunted). The last night I was there I had a “strange occurence”. I came downstairs with Sue to get some food and everything is quiet.
Although everything is quiet there is a radio in the dining room that we were told never to turn off or change the station. Why? Because the woman who owned the house previously was incredibly Christian and always had a Christian station playing on the radio. She passed away from cancer. It was weird enough that we were told basically never to touch it unless we were going to turn it up. (And god knows that wasn’t on our to-do list).
Anyways, as I went back downstairs alone…. in the dark, literally 5 min after I had just come down with Sue the radio was up blasting that Christian station. No one turned it up because no one was down there. I got chills throughout my entire body like I’ve never felt before. It was one of the weirdest things I had ever felt. There’s a lot of strange little things that go on there like windows slamming shut that are really hard to close, sounds that appear to be someone walking, and dogs barking at nothing a lot during the night time.
Ever since I was a child I was also interested in the spiritual world or whatever you’d like to call it. A lot of people think’s its a bunch of crap, but I’m not so ignorant to the point where I won’t be a little open-minded and at least leave myself open to experience things like that.
Some people will say it’s your mind’s paranoia playing tricks on you, but we all believe different things. And I personally think it isn’t too far off to think a presence can remain somewhere when someone passes especially their home or in other words their domain.
What do you think? Are you a believer in the spiritual side of yourself? Have you ever had a strange occurrence happen to you that made you question if there really is another spiritual realm?

There should be no reason for people to say they don’t know what to wear this coming Fall. From Urban Outfitters to Gareth Pugh to Anna Scholz fall fashion is out of control, or OOC as Rachel Zoe says. Now Monif C has launched her Pre-Fall collection. Who said fall had to be cold? These clothes will surely bring the heat. Plus the campaign features Fluvia wearing short blond hair.

Rochas was full of colors and patterns. Spring is obviously the season for patterns. The fabrics looked rich and full. Even though they had shorts and dresses, the GAGA look was in full effect. It was all tropical.
Rue du Mail was very feminine and sexy in a very Parisian way. The silk dresses were amazing. I really loved the watercolor dresses. Everything was gorg.
So please go here and watch this NSFW video of Gareth Pugh’s presentation. I really don’t know what to make of it, but I am trying to keep an open mind. I mean I love the clothes, but the music and jagged movement….
