Well Here It Is…..
The Fat and Skinny is a work in progress. Since this blog has changed from hobby to graduate school thesis project, more changes are coming. I am trying to turn TFAS into an online fashion magazine/blogazine.
As you may have noticed, I get a few guests posts on the blog every now and then. I am trying to branch out by having more writers on the blog.
I am looking for fashion journalism interns.
The Fat and Skinny on Fashion is looking for interns that know how to blog and probably have their own blogs, love fashion, love to take style photos of their outfits or the outfits of others, and love to write. If you need college credit, great! If you don’t need college credit, that’s fine too. Unfortunately this internship is unpaid, but you do get clips. The internship starts as soon as possible.
Since this is obviously an online internship, TFAS is seeking writers from around the world.
Topics TFAS is looking for:
International Fashion News
Domestic Fashion News
Straight/Plus Size Fashion
Top Model News
Please send your resume, 1 or 2 writing samples, or your blog address to the following address thefatandskinnyblog[at]gmail[dot]com with the subject title “The Fat and Skinny Internship.”
If you want to be a guest post writer, let me know at thefatandskinnyblog[at]gmail[dot]com.
I am finally done with my first semester of grad school. I finished my projects and my exams. I learned so much about fashion. I designed a couple of collections by drawing flats, I made yet another marketing plan, and I took a textiles class which I hated. My friend told me that everyone hates textile class, so I am OK with that.
I also had a massage today at the Urban Nirvana Spa to take away my stress. I am so excited to be done, but I am very anxious to see my grades. I think I did pretty well. 🙂 Now am I looking for internships and trying to plan a trip to Boston. If anybody knows any good places to stay or go in Boston please tell me .
UPDATE: Just so everyone knows, I am still interning with Stylehop.com. I love Stylehop.com, but I am an overachiever and would like to have another one during the summer. I am always looking for things to add to my resume and build experience from. I could work at a store, work with a stylist, do pr work, or anything else fashion related. I am just hungry for more experience. lol 🙂
