FTC: I was sent The Balm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Palette from Kohls. This is an honest review.
Kohls recently sent me The Balm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Palette and I love it. The natural colors can be worn many different ways. You can also create looks for day and for night. I love that the eyeshadows are triple milled which mean that they are super smooth. They lasted a long time too. I used eyeshadow primer, but I think they would have lasted long regardless of my primer use because they just really laid on top of my eyelid. The color payoff is amazing too. I think this palette is going to serve me well.
I have been trying out the Maybelline Dream Wonder Liquid Foundation, and I think it is the perfect fall foundation. It is so light and airy on my face. It doesn’t feel thick at all. Actually I can’t feel it after it dries. It really is only for normal or oily skin. It leaves a matte finish, so if you have dry skin you will look like Casper. It is medium coverage. You can build it, but I wouldn’t put too much on if you don’t want to look like a ghost. When the right amount is on my face, my face glows and looks very natural. If I go a smidge over…I’m back to Casperville.
If you need to cover up some imperfections, just use some concealer. That is what I ended up doing. Another thing I did was our a little bit of the foundation out first and apply it with a brush. It is really loose and thin, so be careful and shake it up really well. The top of the bottle comes with a weird applicator. You are supposed to touch it with your fingers and then put it back on your face. That puts germs in your bottle, and that was the only con I could think of. I have found the Maybelline Dream Wonder Liquid Foundation in different stores for different prices. It is usually around $7 to $10 and you can always find Maybelline on sale. This is a great drugstore foundation. I recommend it.

Hello everyone! I wanted to review the BH Cosmetics Take Me to Brazil palette for some time now. I was finally able to order it a few weeks ago when BH Cosmetics was having a little sale. This eyeshadow palette is pretty cheap because it only costs $9.95 regularly. You get 30 eyeshadows for $9.95. Not bad.
I love the colors and think they look great on me. I am wearing them in the video. If I were you, I would use some kind of light eyeshadow base/primer or the white eyeshadow that comes with the palette underneath the regular shadow. I didn’t do that, and I think the shadows would have been even brighter with a lighter base. Get the eyeshadow at BH Cosmetics.
Don’t forget to join my team of stylists or get styled by me at Keaton Row.
So I finally bought the Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation and it had more pros than cons, but the cons were very problematic. I love the this foundation usually retails between $6.94 and $8.99. That means that it is really affordable. I also love that it has a medium to full buildable coverage. The white shine stick in the middle actually mattifies my face without making it look ashy. The two shades I bought were Cappucino and the darker Coconut. I used one to highlight and the other to contour.
The best part of the Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation is that it looks so natural on my face. You can’t even tell that I have makeup on. I put primer on the second time around because I couldn’t tell if the makeup was straying off my face because it looked so much like my skin.
The worst part of this foundation is that it broke my face out so bad. I mean my face just erupted with acne. I am still trying to get my face back together and I only wore this foundation 3 or 4 times. That is not a good look. Since this foundation is so cheap, I would try it for a few days and see if you like it. I would still be wearing it if it hadn’t broken my face out.
I went to the mall and did the Sephora Color IQ thing and ended up buying the uber expensive Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation. It really does make my skin look smooth, but it also left it looking ashy since it has a really matte finish. I also think the Color IQ machine scanner thingy matched me wrong. Watch my video to hear about the rest of my experience with the Sephora Color IQ.
Here is my review of the Milani Cream to Powder Foundation. Why have I been sleeping on this foundation? You all know how I love a good cream to powder foundation, and it is from the drugstore too! I’m so glad I found this because it is so smooth and light. You don’t really need that much on your face. It says it provides a light to medium coverage, but I was able to get full coverage out of it to cover my hyperpigmentation. I still didn’t put that much on though. I have never used a foundation this light that covers so well. I am using the shade #12 Pecan. It is the darkest shade available. I got my foundation from CVS, but I know they have it at Target, Walgreens, and other beauty supply stores. The website says is sells for $7.99. Here is the website for the foundation. Here is the website to find your shade.
FCC: I paid for this makeup myself. This is an honest review.
I had been tempted to buy this foundation for a long time now, but the Revlon Color Stay Whipped Crème Makeup is very expensive for a drugstore makeup. The prices I have seen have varied from $11.99-$13.99. There isn’t a huge color range like the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation, but I do like that it gives you a full coverage. There aren’t many drugstore foundations that give you full coverage. Check out my full review in the video above.
FCC: I bought this foundation with my own money.
