More than 750 maurices locations across the U.S. are hosting Rescues & Runways fashion shows to raise supplies and cash donations for our forever friends – animals.
Running throughout September and October, Rescues & Runways is a national campaign created by maurices, in partnership with the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to increase awareness of animal shelters and pet adoptions through pet-themed fashion shows. (There’s a full listing of Rescues & Runways shows here.
Even if you are unable to make it to the shows, there is still a way to help! For a limited time, maurices is selling its Friends for Life Charm; for every purchase of the charm, $2.50 goes to support the ASPCA. Learn more here.
The good people at Maurices.com were kind enough to give me a gift card. I used it to get some accessories to review. I hope you love the video. I decided to showcase accessories since I am always reviewing clothes.
While perusing their site yesterday, I found out that they are having a Summer Sale. Don’t miss out.
The Fat and Skinny is now mobile. Check it out!
Don’t forget to shop The Fat and Skinny Shop for sizes 8-20, L-3X!
Remember that store called Maurices? I reviewed a pair of the jeans a few months ago. I have to say that I wear their Morgan jeans EVERY week. They make my butt look so amazing. I think it has something to do with the rise and size of the pockets on the jeans. The good thing about Maurices is that they sell straight and plus sizes. They also have stores around the country and a store online at Maurices.com. YAY!
This weekend only, if you spend $60, you get a free tote or free pair of sunglasses!
Maurices is also letting me give a free tote away to ONE of my readers!
All you have to do is write your email address below and tell me you want to enter in the contest!
It ends Thursday night 11:59 est.
I was asked to review some jeans from Maurices.com. I had never heard of this company before, so I did some quick research and decided to say yes. Maurices is online, and they have physical stores in different cities around the country. They are a woman’s clothing store that sells plus and straight sizes. Maurices has some really cute items for work and play. So check them out!
The jeans that I tried were the Briana Dark Wash Jeans and they cost $34. The fabric on the jeans were ok. It wasn’t too thin or too thick. They have a little bit of a flare leg and even though they are supposed to be mid-rise, they seem to be low-rise for me. I think that is because I have a little bit o’ booty in the back. I did like the jeans though. They had a nice wash, and my dad thought they looked nice. Thanks dad! I would probably buy some jeans from this store again. I would love to be able to find a store near me, but that won’t be happening anytime soon because the nearest store is an hour or so away. Sorry for the poor quality pictures. I took them with my phone. 🙂
My pictures didn’t move over when I moved my blog.
