Beauty Bit- Actually Organic Argan Oil Review

actually organic argan oil

FTC: I was given this bottle of Actually Organic Argan Oil for review. This is an honest review.
actually organic argan oil

I love using oils on my skin and hair. When Actually Organic Argan Oil offered me a free bottle to try, I was very excited. Not all argan oil is created equal. This particular brand is very good because it actually made from 100% pure and cold pressed argan oil from Africa. This isn’t the synthetic-kinda mixed with other questionable things type of oil. The owner of the company went to find the purest, best smelling oil. I have been using this oil for a month now. I use it on my cuticles, my hair, the corners of my eyes, my lips, and my elbows. I really have been getting my use out of this oil. I really talk about how I use the oil in the video below. The 4 ounce bottle of Actually Organic Argan Oil is on sale at Amazon for $23.99. I was actually given the 1 ounce bottle. It costs $11.99 and lasts a long time. After all I have been using it for, I still have a great deal of oil left. You really don’t need that much oil for each use. Check out hte video below for more.

canviiy

The weather is finally starting to get cooler, and this is the time where my scalp starts to get itchy. I am so glad Canviiy showed up in my inbox with a free sample. Thank you Canviiy for the free sample. Y’all this product is so good. Canviiy is a combination of different oils and ingredients that, when used on the scalp with the easy to use applicator, stops the itch. It truly works. I tried the samples they gave me, and I was so amazed by it. I usually use tea tree oil to stop the itch, but Canviiy swears by their product and claim that it gives you a long-lasting scalp soothing sensation.

Outre Has The Best Half Wigs For Natural Hair!?!?!

half-wigs-for-natural-hair

half-wigs-for-natural-hair
It is that time of the year again where I start to look for some wigs to use as protective styles for my natural hair. Half wigs are great because they are easy, usually cheap, low maintenance styles that can protect my natural hair from the cold, dry air. I always start the wig search process by going on YouTube and checking out the latest tutorials and wig hauls. I’ve seen quite a few wig hauls on these new Outre half wigs, and I think these might be the best half wigs for natural hair.

Battle of the Yaki Lace Front Wigs! Help Me Choose One!

Yaki Lace Front Wigs

Yaki Lace Front Wigs

Ok guys and dolls! Please get me out of this hair dilemma. I need your help in picking out a yaki lace front wig. I have been looking at different yaki lace front wigs for months. Since I am natural, and very fond of protective styles, I want a wig that will mimic straightened hair so I don’t actually have to straighten my hair. I am so afraid of damage. After being natural since 2012, I want to keep my hair growing and strong. Protective styles, like twists and wigs, help my hair to grow because I am not playing in it or adding heat to it all the time. The thing I like about yaki lace front wigs is that they look more natural on my head. Sometimes I want a wig that looks like it could be my hair.

My natural hair journey wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, and I really think that was because of the many YouTube videos that I watched every night. I have been natural for two years now, and I finally big chopped about one year and change into my journey. I know for some that may seem like an eternity when you are used to having relaxed hair. I hope this video series helps on your own natural hair journey.

Beauty Bit-Argan Oil Hair Mask For Natural Hair

FTC: I was given the Argan Oil Hair Mask products by Instanaturals and Brandbackers.

The Instanaturals Argan Oil Hair Mask is perfect for natural hair. My hair hates cold weather or constantly changing temperatures. This crazy weather has been wrecking it. The ingredients are really good. They have Argan Oil, Amino Acid Complex, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, and Vitamin B5 inside, but they also have a lot more natural oils listed as well. The hair mask smells so good. When I opened the container, I feel like I sniffed if for way too long. It kind of smells like chocolate, so don’t leave it open near any pets.

Beauty Bit- I’m Loving These Natural Hair Tips For The Summer

inikscott

I am loving these natural hair tips for the summer from LHDC-TV. She basically talks about letting your hair down and out for the summer, and that is what I have been doing myself. I have been wearing a wash and go all summer long. No wigs here…at least until the winter. With my hair, a wash and go is something super easy to do. Have you been trying new hair styles this summer? What have you been doing with your hair?

Beauty Bit- How To Pineapple Natural Hair At Night

How to pineapple natural hair at night

Have you ever wondered how to pineapple natural hair at night? Pineappling is where you put your hair up at night instead of retwisting it that night. It is an easy way to keep your hair lasting throughout the week without all of the work. Even though @blackonyx77 has long hair, you can do this on short hair too by making many mini pineapples at night. The other great thing about this hairstyle is that you can rock it out as well with a really cute scarf.

Beauty Bit- Temporary Hair Color For Natural Hair

temporary hair color

I love temporary hair color for natural hair because you can spray it in and then wash it out. I have been using some sprays that I recently got from the BSS and my local Sally Beauty Supply. The only problem I have found is that it sometimes gets hard and crusty, so I let it dry and then kind of knock the flakes before I go. You can also use hair chalk and mousse. This is the temporary hair color I use from Sally Beauty Supply. In MissKenK’s video, she shows you how to properly spray and chalk the hair. Enjoy! Photo from Sally Beauty Supply!

This is my favorite brand of temporary hair color!

Beauty Bit- As I Am Coconut Cowash Review

As I Am Coconut Cowash

I finally bought the As I Am Coconut Cowash. I know I am late to the party, but I love this stuff. It cleaned all of the gooky product I had left in my hair and left it incredible soft. I bought it for $9, but the website site says it is $8.99. I actually saw it at Sally’s for $6.99 though. Wherever you get it from, I guarantee that it is worth the price.

My Natural Hair Journey – One Year Without A Relaxer

My Natural Hair Journey

My Natural Hair Journey

I just have to share my natural hair journey with you. I can’t believe that this weekend marked one whole year without a relaxer. My last relaxer was on November, 15th 2012. Crazy to think about it. This is my second time going natural, and I am really committed to it. Transitioning to natural hair hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be. To be quite honest, I had heard all of these horror stories. I thought I was going to have the hardest time combing my hair and taking care of it, but I haven’t. Praise the lord! Clearly I’m doing something right.
