Where Have I Been and What I’m Wearing
Hey Everybody! It has been a long time since I wrote a blog post, but I have been traveling and I was battling a bad cold. I really didn’t feel like writing blog posts while I was hacking up my lungs. Anyway. eShakti sent me this super cute lobster applique skirt back in February. I couldn’t take pictures of it because I was sick, but I tried it on and it fit.
Boohoo.com now has plus size clothes!!!! I always wondered when/if they would be getting plus sizes. I am so excited that they gifted me a few items for review. Thanks Boohoo.com! They let me pick three items of choice, and now that I have seen everything in the flesh…I am in LURVE!
The thing I like about Boohoo is that they have a lot of trendy clothes mixed in with some basics and very practical items as well for a very, very good price. Everything I received was either $36 or $40. I got the Charlotte Metallic Contrast Trim Jersey Jacket, Lillian Graphic Print Woven Top, Evie Mesh Hem Panel Midi Dress. I can’t wait to wear this stuff. 🙂
Also get 25% off at Boohoo.com with the code- GET25. Please note that I do not know how long that codes lasts.

I bought the wonderful Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder at Walmart last week. It is a pretty great powder I can see myself using throughout the spring and summer to keep the shine off of my nose. I love it and it only cost around $3. Try to use a fluffy powder brush with it or a kabuki brush. You don’t have to use a ton of it on the brush because a little bit goes along way. Lightly puff the Rimmel Stay Matte powder on your face or you will end up looking like a clown. The color I used is called transparent. They have other colors, but I think transparent is more universal. The powder says it lasts 5 hours. I don’t know if it lasted five hours, but my nose was grease free for quite a bit which is great because it usually looks full of shine. I recommend the Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Powder.

Bond No. 9 New York Musk is the great new fragrance from Bond No. 9. This warm eau de parfume is a unisex fragrance that is sure to entice the senses. I love the warmth of Bond No. 9 New York Musk. The musk and sandalwood scents are strong. Warmth is the number one reason I love musk scents to begin with, but Bond No. 9 put the right amount of lightness in it with the grapefruit flower and black currant.
They always say a musk acts as a pheromone to help you attract a mate. While I know there are many naysayers out there, I can attest to the fact that whenever I wear a musk perfume I do get more attention. Since this is a holiday release, you should cop this for your holiday parties. 😉 Bond No. 9 New York Musk will appear on-counter in November 2012, Bond No. 9 New York Musk will be sold at Bond No. 9’s five New York stores, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and bondno9.com. Price: 100ml, $330; 50ml, $260. Photo from Bond No. 9.
Dark and Lovely 6 Week Anti-Reversion Cream Serum’s is a horrible hair product. It is supposed to help your relaxer last longer after you wash your hair. Fail!!! My hair had more ripples in it than the Blue Ridge Mountains. It did not help anti-revert my hair or whatever you call it. It left my hair very dry and brittle. The product sucks. I give it two thumbs down. If I had more thumbs…
Last week the lovely people at Leading Lady sent me some full figured bras to review. I was a little skeptical at first because I can never seem to find the right bras in my size, but something told me to give it a try anyway. Just a sidenote before I get into the review, Leading Lady makes nursing bras, but since I am not nursing I didn’t review those. Check them out here if you are interested.
