You have about two or three weeks to get all of your Christmas shopping done online and in stores. I decided to do a bunch of gift guides this week to show you a few gifts that you could get for a friend or family member or….yourself. Today I am focusing on beauty gifts under $100. Sephora and Ulta have a ton of gifts sets that are targeted to men, women, perfume lovers, makeup lovers, and more. I love looking at and sometimes shopping these beauty sets for myself every year. I also like buying these gifts sets for friends and family because it they are easy to pick, choose, bag up or warp, and give. Another reason I love these beauty gift sets is the fact that I can try beauty products that I have been interested in for awhile, but I haven’t tried yet because I was not trying to buy a full sized product I haven’t used yet. This is a super simple way to save your coins. Check out these holiday beauty gifts under $100 below.
I just recently received my Fall 2016 Sephora inside JCPenney catalog, and now I can’t wait to show you my fave pre-fall beauty picks from Sephora and some of my fave beauty stores. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and fall beauty is my favorite type of beauty. I love the dark lips and smoky eyes. I love all those things that make fall beauty great. Check out my pre-fall beauty
Hey everyone! Here is a Sephora haul video for you guys. I haven’t done one in a while. I recently went to Sephora in Atlanta when I went to the TCFStyle Expo and bought a bunch of items. I actually bought more than I wanted. I went in that store determined to keep my wallet in check. Sike! I failed. I went in for one item and came out with four. Anyway. Here are the items that I bought, and a link where you can get the items. I am so excited to use these products. If you have any tips or questions leave them below in the comments.
Thanksgiving is almost here, so you need to get your beauty look together. I found a lot of fall festive options to wear on Turkey Day from Sephora and Ulta. Now is the time to get into these fall colors. I love wearing plums, berries, bronzey browns, and lots of golden shimmers. For the past two or three years, I have been wearing brown and gold eyeshadow, golden blush with a hint of plum or berry and a deep and very dark lip. I can’t wait to play around with my makeup on Thursday. Photos from Sephora.com and Ulta.com. Find more options below.
The transition from fall to winter can be overwhelming for women. For instance, skin becomes drier, and everyday beauty products can become neglected. Here in this post, I will be talking about some products that will make it easier to maintain your skin in winter and still keep up with the fall trends. Some common products I researched will help to eliminate dry skin. Starting with the face, Complex 15 Face Moisturizer is a top seller at Drugstore.com for only $5.50. This is a great item to invest in simply because it cures that dry feeling skin gets in this season. Another important item to look into is the Neutrogena Hand Cream for $4.50, also from Drugstore.com. Curing winter skin in your hands is really important; I mean who wants to feel scaly? Neutrogena Hand Cream can help that.
I am seriously thinking of adding the SEPHORA COLLECTION Makeup Academy Palette to the October budget so that I can of get this. It has over 130 colors and products for eyes, lips and face. It even has some concealers in there. I’m not sure if they will work with my skin tone to cover any blemishes, but I’m sure I can use them to highlight! Get this awesome makeup kit for $49.50. I went to the mall and did the Sephora Color IQ thing and ended up buying the uber expensive Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation. It really does make my skin look smooth, but it also left it looking ashy since it has a really matte finish. I also think the Color IQ machine scanner thingy matched me wrong. Watch my video to hear about the rest of my experience with the Sephora Color IQ.
Your favorite long-lasting matte lip brand now comes in the shiny variety. Bring on the OCC Lip Tar Stained Gloss that has all of the long-lasting pops of color that the original Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars, but now with a shine that is uhh as bright as that Rihanna song. The new product is still 100% Vegan and cruelty free and come in six bright colors. I can’t wait to try these glazey glosees. Get them at Sephora! I might be heading down to my local Sephora to check out all of the OCC Lip Tar Stained Gloss colors today!
Sephora tempted me with a $20 off $50 purchase coupon…and they won. Here is my haul. There is no possible way to save money during the holidays with all of these sales.
Here is what I purchased:
FCC: I paid for this makeup myself. This is an honest review.
So I went online to Sephora and used my 20% of VIB shopping pass again. I needed to get another Sephora Collection Microsmooth Foundation Face Powder in Mahogany since the color Ebony was not my shade. Anyway I ended up buying the Smith’s Rosebud Salve, and the Sephora Collection Classic Mineral Powder Brush #45. Check out the video to see my review of the Sephora Collection Microsmooth Foundation Face Powder in Mahogany, and the other products I got plus the samples.

It is that time of the year where we go gift giving crazy. I thought I would do something a little different and bring you are few of my favorite gift ideas. These beauty products make great gifts for your favorite beauty lover or for yourself. I will never tell if you buy one or all of those beauty gift sets for yourself because I definitely have my eye on two of them. Photos from Saks, Sephora, Ulta, and PublicDomainPictures.net. P.S. Ulta is having a great sale on any Ulta store brand items. It could be makeup or bath. I spoke about my buy 2 get 2 free steals in this video over the weekend.
One of my favorite makeup brushes, that I use all the time, is Sephora Collection’s I. T. Natural Foundation Brush. This $36.00 brush is the best! You can use the natural foundation brush on cream to powder foundation, liquid makeup, and powder makeup. I use it with all of my makeup products. I actually bought two of these months ago because I use them so much! What is your favorite makeup brush? Who is it by? Photo from Sephora.
Hey guys! Here is a quick weekend beauty haul video of what I bought at the Sephora VIB Holiday Shopping Event! I had so much fun shopping today. Every place I went I had a coupon. I even saved $100 today in Ulta buying Christmas presents!
List of products:
I couldn’t find the Josie Maran Set but here are the two products separately
I love how flowers can inspire beauty in everything…even makeup and beauty trends. These colors are a little wild, but I think they look great on everybody. Check them out below. Photos from Reason to Breathe, Sephora, and Target.
Here is a really hard looking, but actually easy to do, glitter eye makeup tutorial from Beat Face Honey. She makes really good beauty tutorials on Youtube. This one is great because she doesn’t use that many eyeshadow colors and only a few glitter colors. She also breaks the steps down in an easy to comprehend way.
I really want to try Boscia’s Luminizing Black Mask. They sell it at Sephora, and it has had nothing but rave reviews from every magazine and website that I have read. I think this will be an excellent mask to de-stress with at the end of the day. What do you think?
This is what Sephora says:
This jet-black, mineral-rich mask creates a unique peel-off effect that delivers powerful detoxifying, purifying, and brightening results. Made with a premier-quality clay, its deep-cleansing properties draw out dirt and oil. Other natural ingredients go to work exfoliating skin and refining pores. Powerful antioxidants shrink pores, firm skin, and reduce inflammation. Once dried, the mask strips away dead skin, impurities and excess oil to reveal immediate and visible results.
