Thanks Influenster for giving me a full sized sample of the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara to review. I am really this mascara because it conditions your eyelashes kind of like a leave-in conditioner conditions your hair. It also has Grow-Lash Complex featuring Procapil, Keratin, and Antioxidants to help your lashes grow stronger in 30 days! I don’t know if it really grows your lashes because I have only used it for about two weeks, but it really does make my eyelashes look soft and delicate!
I decided to to try out the COVERGIRL Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation because everyone was talking about how great it is. Umm yeah! It is pretty freaking awesome. This is an all day full coverage foundation with a primer and concealer built into it. It looked really good after it dried. Later in the day, it still help on but looked a little powdery. It wasn’t that bad, unless you prefer a dewy finish to a matte finish. This foundation is pretty good. There are only two full coverage foundations in drugstore beauty aisles, and I like this one more than the Revlon Colorstay. I recommend the COVERGIRL Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation.
FCC: I bought this foundation with my own money.
I finally got an Influenster VoxBox. A few days ago I received the Influenster Holiday VoxBox. It is amazing. Basically you go on the website and make a few reviews. Those reviews and other tasks, like linking your social media accounts, give you points. The point eventually lead up to being picked for a VoxBox. I am so happy received my VoxBox the other day. I actually had planned on buying two items in the box before, so I am glad I saved my money. Check out everything I got in the video.

Bond No. 9 New York Musk is the great new fragrance from Bond No. 9. This warm eau de parfume is a unisex fragrance that is sure to entice the senses. I love the warmth of Bond No. 9 New York Musk. The musk and sandalwood scents are strong. Warmth is the number one reason I love musk scents to begin with, but Bond No. 9 put the right amount of lightness in it with the grapefruit flower and black currant.
They always say a musk acts as a pheromone to help you attract a mate. While I know there are many naysayers out there, I can attest to the fact that whenever I wear a musk perfume I do get more attention. Since this is a holiday release, you should cop this for your holiday parties. 😉 Bond No. 9 New York Musk will appear on-counter in November 2012, Bond No. 9 New York Musk will be sold at Bond No. 9’s five New York stores, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and bondno9.com. Price: 100ml, $330; 50ml, $260. Photo from Bond No. 9.
The wonderful people at Nation LTD. sent me two items to review. I am not going to lie. When they contacted me, I was super excited. I love hearing about straight size brands taking the plunge to actually design a decent plus size line. This line is more than decent though. The basics are really cute and comfy. They remind of trendy yoga wear that you can wear outside without looking weird.
A few weeks ago I went to Walmart. While I was there, with the sincere intention of only buying one item, I saw this three pack of Black Radiance mascara for almost $5. It was steal, so I had to buy it. Duh! The first mascara I tried was the Body Building Mascara. It regularly retails for $2.99 by itself at your local Walmart, Rite-aid, or other beauty/drugstore that sells Black Radiance, and I fell in lurve with it!
Last week the lovely people at Leading Lady sent me some full figured bras to review. I was a little skeptical at first because I can never seem to find the right bras in my size, but something told me to give it a try anyway. Just a sidenote before I get into the review, Leading Lady makes nursing bras, but since I am not nursing I didn’t review those. Check them out here if you are interested.
I recently received an email about a new brand of organic nail lacquer called Curtsy & Bow. The email piqued my interest because the information stated that the lacquer lasted up to 10 days and was 3free ( dbp, toluene, and formaldehyde free). Of course you know I had to ask for a sample.
I was quite surprised at how fast my samples came. Conveniently they arrived in my mailbox the day I was going to repaint my nails. I hurriedly opened my package and was delighted to see not one, but two bottles of Curtsy & Bow nail lacquer from the inaugural Yacht Club Collection. After examining the nail lacquer, I am pretty sure that Curtsy & Bow founder Melissa Huynh is on to something here.
