Coach Suede Full Trench Coat

Coach Suede Full Trench Coat

“Winter is coming!” I shout in an ominous Game of Thrones type voice. Okay, okay let me stop being crazy, but seriously…winter is coming. Coach’s Suede Full Length Trench Coat in Coffee is the perfect everyday trench for the winter months. I think it would look great with a white turtleneck sweater or some boots or both. You could be a modern day Khaleesi. The only problem is that is costs $1498.00 A girl can dream though…

DIY Trench Coat and NYX Eye Pencil and Milani Glitzy Gloss Review

Today I am bringing you a video where I talk about how I made a sleeveless trench coat, which is very chic right now, and I review some beauty products I bought. I  recently bought the 3D Glitzy Glosses from Milani Cosmetics and the Jumbo Eye Pencils from NYX Cosmetics. Check out the video to see how I liked or disliked them.

For the Trench Coat- You can take a trench coat from anywhere. I just happened to buy mine off of Ebay. You can either cut the sleeves off or use a seam ripper like I did. Seam rippers are cheap. Also make sure you buy some fray check from Walmart or any craft/fabric store. This will help you keep the frays in check.

He’s on TV with Tyra Banks judging America’s Next Top Model, in Vogue magazine writing his monthly column and now he’s starring with Banks again for a set of informational fashion videos for her new website TypeF.com. Trend Report: The Basics Edition

trendreport

You know how much I love to talk about trends. Trust me, anything new that comes out I’m all over it like an umbrella.

But let’s be honest. I’m a college student (read: so broke, it’s not even funny) so I can’t afford to jump on every trend bandwagon out there. Who has the money to replace their wardrobe every season?

Plus, there can be too much of a good thing. Trend + trend + trend+ trend = a wtf outfit. Outfits are like a culinary dish. Trends are the spices on top of your basic potatoes, and a girl cannot subsist off of pepper alone.

So this post is just to celebrate those classic, perfect pieces which, when you think about it, really are the foundations for effortless style.

The Trench

Trench coats are always stylish and in season. They flatter every body type and provide a sexy sophistication to any casual outfit. Trenches are a good investment for any diva on a budget because they can be worn in both the spring seasons and the fall seasons. This fall expect to see more military and utilitarian style trenches, they’ll provide a rough edge to the otherwise classic trend.

Tons of celebrities have been spotted with Trench coats within in the past few months especially Victoria Beckham who has helped make the trench coat an iconic peace in the past year or so.
