In the past two months, I have been to two local fashions shows. The one in June was produced by UK Models and the one I went to this weekend was held by FFS. It was called the 2nd Annual A GLAM AFFAIR Fashion Show. The June UK show featured some local emerging designers like SC Exotic Creations by Shefeka Carter. The FFS show was a blast from the past with clothes representing different decades and a set of vendors like Tweedlebeads Jewelry, Imagine This accessories store, makeup from Avon and Mary Kay, and a slew of others.
Last night Eb and I went to a fashion show held by UK Models. The fashion show was for a great cause, the South Carolina Council on Adoptable Children. I think things like this are wonderful because I am adopted. This charity doesn’t place children with families, but it does help educate people about the process. The clothes featured last night came from Max rave, bebe, Mina/Mas, Justice for Girls, JCPenneys, Rugged Warehouse, and Ross Dress for Less. Thanks goes out to Keisha from Makeup by Keikei for inviting me.
