I recently received an email about a new brand of organic nail lacquer called Curtsy & Bow. The email piqued my interest because the information stated that the lacquer lasted up to 10 days and was 3free ( dbp, toluene, and formaldehyde free). Of course you know I had to ask for a sample.
I was quite surprised at how fast my samples came. Conveniently they arrived in my mailbox the day I was going to repaint my nails. I hurriedly opened my package and was delighted to see not one, but two bottles of Curtsy & Bow nail lacquer from the inaugural Yacht Club Collection. After examining the nail lacquer, I am pretty sure that Curtsy & Bow founder Melissa Huynh is on to something here.
These have been the best nail lacquers I have tried in a long time. I love painting my nails. I collect polish, so I know a great polish when I see one. This polish right here! Chile it was so thick and creamy, I only needed one coat. I put another coat on just to be on the safe side, but I didn’t need to. Sometimes polishes and lacquers in this particular powdery color can be chalky, but it was very smooth. The polish, St. Thomas Blue Me Away, is bright and dried faster than I expected.
The great thing about this polish is that it strengthens the nails and is safe for pregnant women. It is priced at $15, which I admit is a little pricey for any nail polish or lacquer, but it is totally worth the price. I am going to have to try the second sample, Shiraz With The Stahz, soon. It seems to be perfect for the galaxy nail tutorial.
