We had a rare instance of form meeting function on the spring runways. Dubbed “flatforms” these shoes give you all the height of a pair of heels without the aching feet.
Unfortunately, I haven’t spotted any of these sandals in high-street stores yet, but I’m predicting it’s only a matter of time. I mean, how often does a practical fashion trend come along?
I personally love the geisha look of these sandals. However, because of the heavy blockiness of the shoe, I’d pair it with something light or skin baring on top to balance out the look.
So tell me ladies, will you be wearing flatforms this spring? Or is it just too out there?
