The UK Bans Ads from Lancome and Mabelline

According to the Daily Mail, the Advertising Standards Authority in England has banned certain beauty ads in the country for being too airbrushed. This isn’t the first time England has done this either. They claim that the ads are misleading and MP Jo Swinson says they create a false impression of beauty. Swinson and Lynne Featherstone, the equalities minister, have set up a Campaign for Body Confidence.

I am in love with all of this. I think overly photoshopped ads with products that provide “miracles” should be banned. They confuse people and give them false hopes. Then they give other people low self esteem. People have such a warped sense of beauty nowadays, they don’t know what is real or fake. Thoughts?
