Wiggin’ It Series: How to Make an U-part or 3/4 Wig

How to make a u-part or 3/4 wigHello everyone! This is the fifth and final post for the Wiggin’ It Series which will teach you how to make your own wigs.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s post on how to make an invisible part and all of the posts during the week.

Today’s post is the last post of the Wiggin’ It Series, and it teaches you how to make an U-part or 3/4 wig with a natural invisible part using tracks or your own hair. Basically you can either cut tiny strips of tracks and place them along your natural scalp in a way that mimics your natural hairline, or you can leave a tiny bit of you own hair out at the top of the wig and comb it over to cover your tracks. When you install the U-part wig, you can either braid your own hair and sew the edges of the wig onto your cornrows, or you can sew tiny wig combs/clips into your wig and stick the combs into your hair. Either way works fine. Again I hope you enjoyed this special blog series. Have a great weekend!

I loved your Wiggin It series. How awesome, I love the idea of variety in your hair transitions. Wig’s are a great source for variety.
