This season’s Yuna Yang collection was simply beautiful. With a pre-show clip featuring a fashion caper who stole the collection out of an apartment and dashed through Central Park, I was able to get a glimpse of the collection before the fashion presentation began. Then the music of Civil Twilight started and the first looks came out in the Nasdaq building.
Pale pastel pink and blue lace mixed with white and beige lace skirts and dresses floated by and I was mesmerized, then she changed the game and brought out some polka dot pieces. I loved how she mixed a green trench with white polka dots with a beige skirt with white polka dots. I was very unexpected, but it really went well together.
Then came the white tailored pantsuit and the some more lacy dresses. This time the lace was red, and the color really rounded out this collection. For the finale a long white billowy gown and a long red dress with a hot pink slip floated about and everybody was in awe. You could literally here the oohs and ahhs from the crowd.
