New York Spring Fashion Week Post 7

Mulberry and Marc By Marc Jacobs were amazing. The colors and use of different patterns really makes you think this Spring is going to fun and whimsical. Mulberry’s collection is totally for the girly girl who loves bright colors and knows how to have fun. As usual, Mulberry’s accessories were AMAZING! I saw a gorgeous pink bag that was to die for. The shoes were great too. I really love the suede moccasin shoes. the collection also featured rosettes and prints.

Marc by Marc Jacobs was obviously created for the cool girls and boys. The mixing of patterns and colors was really interesting. I also liked how the girls had these cute oversized bows on their heads. Maybe designers are going through a Gaga phase. Several designers have used oversized bows and have had models go pantsless. Hmmm? Makes you wonder.

Well if Marc by Marc Jacobs and Mulberry were for the colorful cool kids, then Rodarte was for the goths. The Mulleavy sisters created garments with their signature swirls of fabric that they wrap around the body. Even though they had some browns, reds, and yellows, but the majority of the collection was black, black, and more black.
