Payless has some really great wide calf boots this year. I saw a few options that were either flat, heeled, or wedged. I think that is great because it adds variety to a woman’s wardrobe. My favorite boot is the Tasha Tall Boot. It comes in cognac and black. It is a simple flat boot with a wide calf. It comes in regular sizes too, but I need the boot to be wide calf for it to fit. With the extended calf sizes that Payless has, these boots just might be the ones that I buy. Boot shoe sizes go up to a size 13 for women at Payless, and the calf sizes range from 16.4 inches to 19 inches. Measure the full circumference of your foot to see what you need. I am glad that Payless has a few options because this is something that the industry needs to work on. It used to be so hard to find wide calf boots. Then the few options that were available were too expensive. I’m glad Payless is here with variety and affordability.

This just in! There is a way to stay warm and protect your feet in super fashionable winter snow boots at Payless Shoe Source this winter season. With the Women’s Summit Faux Fur Boot shown in White, Grey, and Black. The fur lining makes the shoe cute and cozy, but the nylon and padded insoles help to protect against all of the elements soon approaching this season. The boot was originally $59.99, but it is on sale for $54.99. This shoe is definitely a great investment that I highly recommend.

As plus-size women, we struggle with a lot of ill-fitting clothing and accessories. Not to mention the struggle of finding wide calf boots during the fall and winter months. I am writing this post with compassion, because I too am affected by this problem. With boots being a fall fashion must-have, it is kind of hard to be without them. Below. I have written a few tips that will help you find wide calf boots as well as the best places to find these boots within your specific price range.
How to Find Wide-Calf Boots:
- When looking for boots that fit for wider calves, look for elastic material that is embedded in the shoe’s material. The elastic makes the boot fit perfectly around your calf. However, if you do not like elastic material, some stores and/or online retailers, like Payless, carry boots that are made specifically for wide calves. Payless, for example, labels the shoes “Extended Calf Wide” and they go up to a size 13 online! If you want to learn more about how to choose the correct calf size when shopping online, click here.
This week’s shoe of the week is actually two different pairs of snow boots from Payless. The Women’s Powder Snow Boot was $59.99, but now costs $49.99. The Women’s Summit Boot is $59.99. The Women’s Powder Snow Boot comes in grey or white, and has a very youthful appearance. The Women’s Summit Boot is more classic and comes in grey or black. Both shoes seems to have great griping soles, and a good amount of insulation for warmth.
Pointy toe pumps are back in style for the fall and the Women’s Gabriella Pointed Toe Pump by Christian Siriano for Payless is $54.99. The pointed toe pump has a velvety faux fur finish and a 4 inch metallic heel. Tres chaud!

This fabulous and versatile peep-toe is a must-have this season!! It features a rich faux suede upper with a classic pep toe, a pretty knot detail on the vamp, a lightly padded footbed for comfort, and a durable outsole with a trendy 4″ patent-wrapped cone heel and .5″ platform. Manmade materials.
While I was standing in line for the Christian Siriano show at NYFW, I noticed the Fiji Water girls wearing some hot shoes. I asked them who the shoes were by, and they said they were Sirano for Payless. Like DUH Jai! I should have known that. The shoes, when they debuted last season, had a higher platform. I guess they made it smaller for the Payless audience. It still looks cute either way.
It’s BOGO time are Payless and these three shoes are calling my name. I might need to find a fourth to round it out!
From The Cut.
Last December, Christian Siriano announced plans to debut an accessories line for Payless at Fashion Week. Well, rejoice, the wait is over. The designer premiered his line of Egyptian-inspired footwear (and some bags) at his show last night, full of spikes, chains, and cone heels. His color choices: Deep brown in matte leather (or probably pleather), patent chocolate, gold triangle heels, and aqua satin featuring a print that resembled hieroglyphics. We’re torn — on one hand, we love that these will only cost $25 to $45 when they hit stores this fall. But on the other, we’re weary that the footwear looks similar to Rodarte’s a couple seasons ago. So you make the call … would you buy them?
I honestly wish they came in other colors.
